UPDATE

Gave one of the headlamps a go with some 800/1200/2000/3000 grit then used some G3 on a mop,

well happy with the results.

Update

x2 Headlamps wet sanded and G3`d then laquered and put in front of the burner to bake as left to dry elsewhere may have them dry milky due to cold temps in me shack.

Underside of front bumper was in  a worse state than i expected,do i source another one or tackle this mess?

Broken and missing tabs,6 inch splits(how hard could it be?)

Stitched splits back together with staples and soldering iron, deep scrapes were filled with molten plastic as i find using fibreglass filler tends to crack and start lifting after a short period.

Still have some "dings" that are showing that i can live with.

Put in front of the burner to bake at gas mk9.

Great work .

I do have a pair of brand new rear disc drilled & grooved for £40

Very tempting as there £70 from my local motor factors(£90 for Brembos).

UPDATE

Front wings after blending base coat and then clearcoated

Had some clearcoat left in the gun so gave headlights another dose.

Just so you know theres no workshop or paint booth, just a ramshackle shack at the top of my garden and i use just cheap Amazon Chinese sourced tools.

I do have a Burner that can maintain 25 degrees celsius no matter the outside temp(-2 tonight.)

UPDATE

After making a pigs ear of the bumper first time round i spent over an hour with some 400 then 800 grit sanding as much of the crappy clearcoat to make the bumper more presentable,no runs or dry spots on the second attempt.😁
