Seeing as I had the afternoon off all to myself I thought I'd prep my rims for the winter

So I jacked up the car.

Nismos off.

OEM Tourings on.

Washed rims.

Dried.

Fallout remover (IronX)

Rinsed

Tar remover (ValetPro)

Wash and rinse.

Clay.

Wash and rinse.

Dried with a towel and put in the kitchen awaiting bone dryness.

Must be getting old as I found it a hard slog in today's heat.

Then off out for drinks with the lads.

Just come back and given them an IPA wipe down.

Nismo LMGT4s awaiting a coat of C5

Not looking too bad after being run daily for 10 years

Off to bed now.

Will coat them with Gtechniq C5 in the morning

Consider it a blessing.

Better than a blow out or wrecked wheel.

Hopefully it's repairable and won't cost too much to fix

Oriiginals as per OP VERY Expensive. Many run the ROTA Gtr replicas which are very good. Had a set on my old 350z.
