Rob350 Posted December 19, 2016 Posted December 19, 2016 Just seen this scrolling through inspirational zed pics and I want one soo bad lol they should have definatly made this instead of the roadster... What Do you all think? http://s77.photobucket.com/user/viperzace18/media/TargaZ.jpg.html Quote
Strudul Posted December 19, 2016 Posted December 19, 2016 (edited) A targa Z? Well it definitely looks better than the Roadster. Had a google and it looks like a couple of people did it. Saw a Targa 370 too. Edited December 19, 2016 by Strudul Quote
Ekona Posted December 19, 2016 Posted December 19, 2016 It'd be cold as heck in there. The wind whips straight in the roof and has nowhere to flow out from, so it's constantly bloody cold. That'd rattle like crazy too, without a ton of extra bracing (like the ragtop has). Looks pretty, though. Quote
coldel Posted December 19, 2016 Posted December 19, 2016 Looks much better than a roadster, and much easier to maintain than a drop top. I would think some work on the chassis though? If you lose the strength of the roof you will put stresses elsewhere on the car? Quote
Stan Posted December 19, 2016 Posted December 19, 2016 I had a targa supra and actually prefer owning a roadster in terms of how it feels when driving roofless, although maybe for looks I would prefer a targa zed 😂 The issue may be where to store the roof (would it fit in the boot?). In the states you would probably be ok with the weather if you left the panel at home, but over here you may not want to risk being out and not having the panel to go back in Quote
colesl4w Posted December 19, 2016 Posted December 19, 2016 That actually looks really good! I wonder is it real or a photoshop? Quote
JetSet Posted December 19, 2016 Posted December 19, 2016 That actually looks really good! I wonder is it real or a photoshop? Real, the conversion cost $3,695 in The States a few years ago, you can't get one here though. Pete Quote
