Plugged the code reader in and it's not working.

The mechanic said it's because it's an import.

Anyone have any ideas?

Really don't want to pay Nissan just for a code.

Heard it was £80 a pop.

Thanks lads, just had a look on e-bay there.

Not an expensive fix at all.

Can anyone recommend the best one to get or is it best just to go to Nissan?

Also, is it easy to change?

What's the procedure?

Thanks in advance

eurocar parts normally have 20%-30 % off their listed prices if you sign up for the newsletter, bought an lambda sensor (o2) from them for the chrysler before.

Also didn't notice the thread until now as I would have offered to let you use my code reader.

Also its plug and play for the sensor... the hard part is getting it off the exhaust. I recently invested in some O2 sensor sockets. If the weather is good one day next week and you get a sensor I could give you a hand fitting it, but I gave my blow torch away and sometimes its needed to expand the metal around the sensor.

That would be great.

Ah'll bring a blow lamp and you supply the tools.

Pm me your address or whatever suits.

I'll order one tonight, should be here before Friday.

Will do.

Just noticed the car won't idle on start up now.

It's fine once I give it a rev.

Hoping this might help my mpg as well (once it's fixed)

Getting right fed up with this 200 miles per tank stuff.

Yours is a JDM car if I remember right? Not likely but one of your cats could be shot and the sensor is reading correctly. If that is the case I also should have an O2 sensor spacer spare that you could use.
