Welcome to my build thread,

 

I'll try and keep the text to a minimum and get the pics on

 

started with this modified Zed about 3 / 4 years ago:

 

 

 

 

 

missed it since but I said to myself I want a new project when the time comes so here it is,after a year in an M3 E46 I was back in a ginger Zed

 

 

 

 

 

Came with a few 'subtle' mods already:

 

Exterior:

 

-TS style carbon fiber bonnet

-black 19 inch Zito rays

-Japspeed K1 exhaust

-Mintex drilled and grooved brake disks

 

Interior:

 

-orange custom gauge faces

-carbon fiber instrument pod cover

-nissan optional extra aluminium kick plates

-resprayed colour coded center console

-Kenwood DDX4015 multimedia system

-blue led interior lights

 

Engine bay:

 

-HKS grounding Kit

-plenum spacer

I actually prefer your new ginger Zed if I'm honest.

 

You say it came with a few mods; one thing I can see you've missed off the list of mods though is the front & rear brake discs as they're definitely not standard. Look very cool with the grooves & holes/dimples.

I'll be surprised as it was in a very poor state a couple of months after I sold it and it slipped through my fingers when was up for sale later on but needed a lot of repairs

Hi Davey,yes plenty of plans and quite a few moods done already but I need to find the time to get all pictures up with any additional comments

a snap of the engine bay when bought the car

first thing I wanted to change was the TS carbon bonnet and went for a black bulge HR bonnet

 

 

fitment wasn't great on the previous bonnet too so quite pleased with this change.

 

 

next I had to change the wheels/tyres as they were all round the same size so found these on sale from a forum member and gone for it:

 

 

19 inch Finichi Firenze on Yokohama Advan tyres

 

and fitted with these neo chrome wheel nuts

 

 

end result:

next was a small package

 

 

GT style polyurethane front lip

 

 

took it to my local spray garage and got it gloss black sprayed and fitted

 

 

now this was just before Japfest this year at Silverstone so below a few of my snaps en route and on the spot

next up to do were the front wipers,so took them down followed all the usual steps and few hours later got them back on

sooo....wasn't planing a change for my exhaust but since this came up ... why not:

 

took down my Japspeed K1 and replaced it with an Injen Ses cat back system,

 

First impressions ?!

 

Way better then the K1...no drone but just a deep roar...quite chuffed

so,since the bay needs some tidying up ,a few weeks ago I just purchased this 2 rare gems

big P3 was required for my piece of mind as I had very little service history paperwork when I bought the Zed almost a year ago

* Iridium Spark Plugs

* Air Con belt

* Alternator Drive belt

* Nuts Alternator Drive belt pulley

* Anti freeze/Coolant

with the P3 done now I have to get to work and get the new plenum cover on before Nissan Day next week so first bit ordered through Adrian @ Torqen, getting a new plenum gasket tomorrow (as I am unsure how the one in use at the moment looks like when I unbolt the plenum) and can start fitting the APS cover
