Look what I saw today...

I was searching on a well known auction site for some new seats for my 370Z that I wanted to re-trim. I found some and I spoke to the guy - turns out he works for Nissan's GT academy. I went to collect the seats from near Silverstone, and he invites me to look at a few cars he has in storage. Under the only cover was a GT4 350Z. He let me get a few sneaky shots for you lot... It's quite an impressive looking piece of kit! All carbon-fibre doors, sequential gearbox etc.

Yeh it looked like a lot was missing haha. I couldn't believe they used the standard steel bonnet on the front :O

I was under the impression they're aluminium. At least they are on the earlier z's, quite lightweight as stock.

Perhaps the guy got confused aha, but either way it wasn't that light really. Especially compared to something like the doors

I know most of the time they use pre-production cars, so could of been been different I suppose

Would very much doubt you would have bonnet catches on anything made of steel.

Well spotted, I've just noticed the dipstick to the side. Wonder what power it makes with the twin TB set up?
