neo Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 excellent news do take it easy when you get to drive it, what with all the wet greasy roads and too much excitement Quote
u2---- Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 Beautiful looking car Lexx. Hope it brings you great driving pleasure and a Meguiars Wash Mitt. Quote
Mathys Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 Looks stunning! Be ready to wash your car even more often than a black one, well at least during winter. Friend of mine has a 335ci in black and a 120d in white, says the 120 is a real pain to keep clean. More than the black one Quote
Sarnie Posted January 12, 2008 Posted January 12, 2008 Nice I wouldn't bother with the Superguard, waste of time and money imo Quote
sinbad Posted January 12, 2008 Posted January 12, 2008 Nice I wouldn't bother with the Superguard, waste of time and money imo +1 Id spend the money on a detailer if anything. Quote
Trev-the-Rev Posted January 12, 2008 Posted January 12, 2008 Very nice indeed. Excellent choice of colour too Quote
H5 Posted January 13, 2008 Posted January 13, 2008 I wouldn't bother with the Superguard, waste of time and money imo +1 You can buy it off eBay for about a quid too. Not worth it. Pay less, get a detailer to put two coats of Jetseal on it and you will be better off in both respects. Quote
moff Posted January 15, 2008 Posted January 15, 2008 Wow finally some pics of a white UK Zed!! Gorgeous I have just ordered one for April delivery and can't wait. Post some clean and shiney pics when you pick her up Thanks! Quote

I use Megs as standard anyway, and have a garage full of it! Anyways, back to the holiday! Quote

Jacko Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 Lexx, Looks lovely mate, I think to be honest that's the best colour for the bonnet bulge..... BTW, If i was you the first thing that I'd do would be paintshield as much of the front end as you can! Definitely pay for itsself in the long run, and use the forum discount of course! So when were the whites ones available from? (I've been away) And also guys, is the same pearl white as what the imports used to have, such as Dan's etc? Quote
Lexx Posted January 19, 2008 Author Posted January 19, 2008 I believe my car was one from the first batch to be released in the UK. The only reason I knew it was available, was that when the dealer was looking at what was available in the compund, it had the white listed. The paint code is QX1, I have no idea of this is the same as the imports. As for Nissan Monkeys....my dealer is a local family run garage who my family have bought alot of cars from and we know everyon who works in the service dept and I trust each and everyone. I would never buy a car from a large dealer anymore after the hassle I had buying my RX8. Anyways, I have a plane to catch! Quote
martinmac Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 Have a good holiday Al Will let you know when there is a chance to remove the Borg implants Quote
