GappySmeg Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 Continuing apace with fitting my new head unit... learnt a few new things... 1) the electrical connectors used by Nissan are the stupidest, most difficult to disconnect, pieces of crap of I've ever encountered! (This is my first ever Jap car BTW) 2) the extra weight on the boot lid caused by a thin layer of frost, is enough to turn it into a highly effective guillotine!!! 3 Quote
davey_83 Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 stoopid connectors and odd looking ribbon looms yes, but everything electrical still works on my 92' Sunny winter daily - bet many other manufactures of the same era cant boast the same ie your astras, rover 200's escorts and 309's.......... 1 Quote

Jetpilot Posted January 17, 2016 Posted January 17, 2016 (edited) Is its purpose just as weight or a dampener to reduce vibrations which i have read elsewhere on here? Edited January 17, 2016 by Jetpilot Quote
