ab350z Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 Hi folks, just thought I'd introduce myself. Bought Letank's 350Z last Friday and enjoyed every mile back to Aberdeen from Northampton, even though it didnt stop raining. Quote
martinmac Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 Hi Bud, for once we cant really do the "we need pics" things. Good purchase and sure you will be happy with it. Looks like you just got back in time, watch the snow. Zed+snow = Quote
Trev-the-Rev Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 Hi and You've got yourself a good car there. Quote
ab350z Posted January 3, 2008 Author Posted January 3, 2008 Yeah, snow hit today and got 0C on the thermometer and the ICY warning, like i hadn't noticed!! Great car and love the looks it gets round town, specially with the cheeky private plate. Quote
Toon Chris Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 Congrats matey, and just because pics have been seen before doesn`t mean that you shoudln't put up a pic of YOUR Z Quote
ab350z Posted January 3, 2008 Author Posted January 3, 2008 Will do, i'll get some classy snow capped pics! Can anyone recommend a garage in the Aberdeen area for service time? I'd rather not use my local Nissan garage, found them quite rude and obnoxious last time I was in. Quote
GIXXERUK Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 have you got any plans for the car ....yet if you stay on here .......you will have Quote
ab350z Posted January 3, 2008 Author Posted January 3, 2008 Nothing at the moment. I've been reading a bit about performance mods and the ECU resetting itself each time, so they dont make much difference with a new ECU? Quote
GIXXERUK Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 yeah you can piggy back the ecu so that it wont cancel out any bhp increases, these are used for s/c or turbo conversions, iirc they are about £550 Quote
nixy Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 did he tell you about the crash he had in it the other week? Only joking - welcome to the forum - nice car! Quote
bronzee Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 Welcome. Always good to see a car staying in a club, rather than going off elsewhere. Quote
