What colour to go with wheels

Alright guys.

I'm debating with myself on what colour scheme to go with for the wheels I've just bought.

The two options I am thinking of are

Refurbed the exact same with chrome lip and gloss black centre.

Or fully gloss black.

Pic for reference.

Ps I wasn't lazy to put the wheel on. My locking wheel nut threads had gone so need to get that sorted first.

Cheers

Had to zoom in to see what design the wheel is. That's why I hate black. All that money and you can't even see the mod. Go for graphite or something for a similar look but without losing the detail of the wheel

I had mine refurbed smoked chrome from the wheel specialist including the lip after it got ruined. Darker than I wanted but worked out ok with azure

As above... Don't go gloss black! You end up losing the wheels with it and I'm really not a fan... I've got mine in charcoal/anthracite by wheel specialist and I think it looks so much better than black as it's a bit lighter and suits the blue a lot more

Lovely wheels. I'm not a great fan of black wheels but they look matt or satin black at the moment which I think looks better than the usual gloss. If they were mine I'd be contemplating either shadow chrome, gunmetal or azure centres with a polished or silver lip.

How about a titanium shade? Not quite bronze but more interesting than gunmetal

Or if you like the colour your rays are but don't want the same- go for a similar colour in a different finish. Matte for example

I've certainly never thought of matte so thanks for bringing these ideas up Lrf4n.

I've never done chrome wheels so I'd like to take a stab at that for the outer lip the centre in a matte finish sounds appealing. I'm gonna have a google through titanium wheels.

Did both of you use "The Wheel Specialist" in Ferndown?

I went there years ago for my BMW refurb with a chap named Peter. Great price, service, and top class bloke. Gave me a discount cause I was young and I said I can bring him more customers if it was done right. Needless to say he got 2 more customers because of that :D

I went back again not too long ago for a side project - V8 Mercedes engine table - and found out there is a new owner

Bloody useless to say the least.

Anyways just wondering when you guys had yours done, and if it was the same place?

I want to get my Rays refurbed into Anthracite or similar colour but don't trust them any more.
