I have just got back from the states and what a amazing place. Totally agree with you about how many zeds did i bump into every day. I did take my camera and i have loads of pics..... sad git i know.

I got 15.6 seconds at 90mph when i went in my Vectra 3.2 GSi. I had 3 runs and i found it very hard to get a good start. Great fun though

Well all good so far. But one job leads to another On inspection i noticed a little gap where the pop charger fits on via 4 bolts, one of them looked a little undone hence a tiny gap on the seal as i could see daylight through it so i tightend one and then the loose one and it broke off sometimes i wish i did not even bother but i do have two spare bolts so on another day i will have to take it all off and drill out the sheared off bolt and put another one in its place Hay Ho........

I have the standard black plastic pipe that runs to my pop charger and that does get hot. I was thinking of wrapping something around the pipe all the way up so to try and keep the tempertures down, what do you think anyone ?

I decided to clean my pop charger as it was full of bits inside so i went and got the K&N serviceing kit. I washed the filter out last night and it was very dirty and then pre-oiled the filter. I guess using the K&N one if fine ? I have not started the engine yet as for no reason but myself i am a little worried it might be the wrong oil Is the above ok, if not what else can you use to re-oil. Thanks

For a 57 plate vxr that is shocking condition but what a result. I would love to get mine done everytime i see these threads but i have a few stone chips and feel these need to be touched in before a full detail can be done . Again the results are fantastic and i wish i had some knowledge on how to make my car look like this. Well done

I would not worry about what figures you acheived on the rollers. You could always take the popcharger off and take it back and see what difference it makes but imo there are so many factors involved in using these(rollers i mean). Take your figures with a pinch of salt unless you go out and spend huge amounts on your engine and then worry that it is below oem.

for the cost of getting that done just get a good deal on the tyres and do not worry about it rolled arches are a last result imo....

This is a subject that i have never really found the answer so many factors involved. My rear on lowered 30mm eibach's are 2.40 which is slightly out of the tolence range but the chap at the garage said this would be fine.(done on 18" alloys) I now have 19's with a +20 offset and the same for AdrianK if i get a camber kit and bring the wheels into spec they will then rub i am happy with the stance and only time will tell if i have a tyre issue...... OK nearly forgot about the handling, AWESOME

Yes I only use the car on the weekend so i'm not too bothered by tyre useage If needed I can always raise the car a bit aswell ....and drives like an old lady.....
