That is really bad luck and we are all at risk. To be fair to the councils though this cold weather does destroy a lot of road surfaces. The water gets in any cracks, freezes & expands causing the damage. The industrial estate, where I work, has had the same problem, though they have reacted quickly to patch the potholes.

Got to say your Zed is looking really I think what ever products you do or do not use you, will find that a sponge is a definite no no. To much chance of picking up grit and scratching your paintwork Best to get yourself a good washmitt.

That has brought back unhappy memories for me so really feel for the poor cat. Nice to hear that you were willing to do what you could Nic, though I know you would never let a cat suffer if you could help it. Unfortunately injured cats tend to go off and die in this way.
