  1. Ha ha, just what I was thinking! Everytime something new comes in the post I just tell the GF it was cheap" Yeah it was only £50" lol Thankfully to my mrs most things are just bits of twisted metal and worth nothing Happy new year mate Steve
  2. This is my next present for myself, due to order in January when I get my Xmas bonus Let me know what you think to them mate

    Egged!!

Some little scrotes decided it would be fun to egg my car last night whilst parked outside the GF's!!! Had I caught them he would have found out how unfunny eggs can be!
  5. Should be able to get up this year for the drive out on saturday or sunday. Something came up at the last minute last year and I was unable to make it. Hope to have my Amuse front and sides fitted by then and maybe a chargespeed rear but we'll see how funds get on as the year progresses. The Amuse front and sides are currently resding in the loft . . . .
  6. Looking good mate I did mine in metallic black and kept the Z chrome. Much prefer this to the previous guise of silver! Matches my Kuro far better!
  7. I play on PS3 as Milfyman clan tag 350Z if anyone wants to add!
  8. For further info Alex sells the tank O Rings, I've just ordered two off him, instead of tapping up Nissan, one for each side. So if you need them (I assume the other suppliers on here will also do them) They are £12.50 each. I'm getting towards the bottom of the tank now and the gauge still seems to be working Will keep this thread updated as the fuel gets used.
  9. Thanks Stew, I recall the GB, should have bought them back then lol. Thanks Alex, PM sent!
  10. After one or two for next years track season but not many places seem to sell them. I recall a while back we had a discount for somewhere that sold these 20% off i think but the one in the discounts forum doesn't work any longer. Does anyone know if we still get a discount from where we did before and if so what are the details or alternatively a supplier cheaper than Demon Tweeks at £48.50 delivered? I've looked on all the usual sources and DT seem to be cheapest.....which in itself is odd lol Thank you Steve
  11. Posted it to the guides section just now folks: http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=56966 Any questions give me a shout
  12. Here you go folks. Please bear in mind all the precautions you should take when working with petrol. We do not want any accidents I would suggest you Start with just cleaning the pump sender and seeing if it fixes your issues, this is the primary one. Also in the service manual it tells you the resistance specs of the sender for testing. Good Luck!!! Fixing the FuelGauge.pdf
  13. I'll see if I can get it done today mate whilst the diff fluid is draining
  14. Clean the hinge? What hinge? Sorry lost me. There are two senders one behind the passenger seat under the false floor in the glove box, stand alone unit and one under the sub attached to the fuel pump. The pump one is a pita due to limited working space but basically you have to remove both units and clean the variable resistor contacts I used contact cleaner and those ear cleaner things cotton wool on a stick Have to be careful not to get petrol on the big O rings as they change shape if you do, I buggared one up so need to get a new one. I've only had it 'fixed' two days so still making sure it is fixed but all seems good at the moment. Passenger side sender gave readings of 0 - 50 when resistance was checked with a multimeter. Driver side one ran from 0-32 then jumped to 175 but then changed frequently between 70-200 without Changing position of float every second or so, after cleaning this seemed to fix the random readings and also ran 0-50. Why there are two senders, one in each half of the tank I have no idea..... A guide will follow.
  15. Well I broke in to the tank today and I think I've fixed the problem, I've got some pics so once I Confirm the gauge issue is fixed I'll do a guide so everyone can fix theirs :0) Merry Christmas
  16. Just bought the tapatalk app well worth the £2 outlay! Makes the forum so much more convenient than zooming in and out all the time as well as the reduced data usage. Last month I used all my data up in 2 weeks lol!
  17. Well I work in the turbo industry for Cummins / Holset as a Product Engineer and can tell you that in some applications the turbocharger shaft can transmit upto 25% of the engine power so it's gonna be similar power requirements on a supercharger, I.e a load of batteries or a very large Li-ion one.
  18. Some people these days make me laugh, they are Air Jordan trainers....I.e. basketball trainers they are a functional sports trainer not a look at my $180 shoe! Warranted a good piece of the price comes from the Jordan branding but from past experience my Air Jordan's were awesome for playing basketball in but I wouldn't wear them anywhere else except on the court bloody massive, heavy and useless day to day. Running And1's at the moment due to the ridiculous price of the Air Jordan's when I bought my new pair for this season I'm well impressed by them

    Body kits

I bought some N1 replica spats from the prestige place, Positives - fibreglass was very thick and the parts felt solid. Negatives - fit was poor, the N1 spats were the trial part before I bought anything else more expensive, they weren't both the same shape, I had to heat one up and reshape to make it the same match the other. I had to cut off the back edge and reprofile both with a grinder so they matched the profile of the bumper. I personally wouldn't buy anything else from them. I bought my bumpers and skirts from Shine Auto in the end through P15ULT on here not fitted them yet so can't comment on how good they fit yet.
  20. Nice one Steve, stoked to ride etc etc.... One of these days! I'll settle for a first Alps trip for 2012 though. Yeah mate always stoked to ride, the terrain was pretty sweet eh. I need to get my bike fixed and get back into biking. Must get it sorted this year the Stab has just been sat in the bedroom since I got home in 2007.....
  21. Gotta agree, got what he deserved not because of the clerical error but for the fact he acted like an arsehole. If this had happened to me when the conductor asked to see my ticket I would have politely explained what had happened and asked how could it be resolved so the train wouldn't be held up, not starting swearing and acting like a cocky little @*!# who needs a lesson in discipline!
  22. Thanks Alex, Thought there must be a way where you didn't disturb the block plugs! Flame proof and water proof gloves at the ready then! Lol
