  1. I need to book mine on the day mate as I get paid the week before Sorry
  2. I think that it may require just a little bit more than what you are suggesting. only a little though DIY Turbo'd Zed http://my350z.com/forum/forced-inductio ... ation.html
  3. No need to panic chicken you will be fine mate. don't be distracted by the snake It all about planning, planning and budgetary limitation. IMHO £700 quids will be more than fine Since its your first road trip keep the itinenary simple eg Brum-dover-calais-belgium- holand(Amsterdam)- belgium- calais-dover-brum. decide what you want to see or visit( Jixaman's proposed Belgian jaunt is exciting, but Amsterdam is a must). You can book you hotels or B&B beforehand or get a deal when you get there from asking around(that's what i do...more exciting and alweays get cheap deal in really good hotels/B&. decide how much you need on food/booze/etc and fuel based on your itinenary. Make sure you have a good sat nav(Nurrish's or tom-tom) to avoid unnecessary detours and go through your checklist for all things you might need travelling abroad. this site as mentioned covers everything. http://www.theaa.com/motoring_advice/ov ... pment.html Get the zed in good shape, check/inform your insurance, Tracker provider and breakdown cover and have a contingency plan(contacts, credit cards etc) in case something goes wrong but i doubt it will. But oserve all precaustions as you would whne going someplace you are not familiar with Finally relax and have fun and enjoy the food , vista and the GT capability of the zed . Give me a call if you have any other querries mate The Snake would advise me not to do this then go do it himself a week later If he was a REAL friend he'd offer to lend me one of his navs
  4. Cheers Tim, I didn't realise it was quite that much to be honest. Got 2x jackets sorted already though Don't forget you have to be able to get your jacket without getting out of the car. I keep mine in the back of the passenger seat pocket. Enjoy your I'm quite nervous now

i think there is a tool in the kit under the boot underlay for removing the stud ohhh. THATS what its for.
  6. Just thought I'd put it on here before it goes on fleabay. RIM Blackberry Curve 8310. I've had it from new and know the IMEI hasn't been reported as stolen or lost to insurance nor O2. Not looking for much, £50 maybe? Needs a replacement cover or maybe you could paint it yourself as the paint has worn (they put the paint on the outside of the screen, not the inside for some reason??) Works perfectly and has GPS so you can download one of the turn by turn satnav apps. Includes 1gb microSD card also. havent got the box any more but it comes with the charger. I *think* its locked to o2 but havent tried any other sim cards in it.
  7. Lovely Zed. Nothing wrong with imports mate, as said before there are loads of us with them
  8. I always said they were cheaply built Had a good look on t'internet for you and found nothing. Could you open it up to change the battery and insert a loop of thread or something when you put it back together?
  9. CS is on your doorstep mate but the other traders will be able to post/ship stuff to you also. Different traders do different things so post up what you want and they'll get in touch (the mods have to stay impartial to all of the traders to make it fair for everyone )
  10. Those clever b*****ds
  11. I like the smoothed side repeaters and lightup badges very much! I look forward to seeing the finished bodykit
  12. Nice one, I definitely prefer the roadster with a spoiler (even just the coupe stock lip) as it looks too plain without Did it fit without modification?
  13. Good job you were on the ball Nix! I'd be scared of taking the zed even near that garage again for fear of it being eaten by the door!
  14. Are you saying 700 quid should be okay? I'll have a look at all of those place, do like the idea of the ring but I'm not too sure if I trust myself enough yet. Will do mate Think we will probably take the tunnel anyway as my buddy doesnt like being on a boat for too long. Plus I'd like to hear the K1 in both England and France at the same time I seem to remember Chesterfield using the Eurotunnel. Just about the length of a DVD I think. Feel really stupid now, I always thought you could drive through the eurotunnel God I really need to get reading Oh dear!!!!!!! Some please split this out and start a gaffs thread!! And add the famous brakeshoe post!!! Yeah, cheers Mark - I was hoping not many people noticed that Cheers Tim, I didn't realise it was quite that much to be honest. Got 2x jackets sorted already though Cheers for the link will have a good read, good idea about the spare bulbs too. Did you have any problems with your lights being for a right hand drive car? I read somewhere that you are meant to adjust them. Will also take note of your advice with the parking too - sounds scary Also, did you notice what grades of fuel they run over there? I'm mapped for 99 ron

Hold on a sec, I just thought, don't the rays have a peg on them to stop you putting the fronts and backs the wrong way round?
  16. marzman said £1.50 a corner, but i think there is a variety of prices depending on where you get it done. Why not then I suppose I'll keep any eye out for it in the W Mids
  17. Hi Ian, careful with sneaky snake, he could turn you into a mod and fit you on his zed at the rate he is going hisssssss. Yeah I know what he is capable of Bennet I look forward to fitting these and seeing what they sound like
  18. So how much does it cost?
  19. I know nurrish got his from CS, may be worth a PM.

I dont know if I'd want to run like this though: 275 -- 245 | | SS -- 275 Surely that would be dangerous as fck?
  21. I actually like the colour and the alloys. The kit isnt too bad either. Respray without the stupid airbrushing, remove the silver grills, stupid bonnet lifter thing and lambo doors and I think it'd be quite nice
