New owner and in need of some assistance
ZMANALEX replied to Harrb234's topic in Introductions & Welcome Messages
Replacing the CSC will not make it any more accessible. To make it more accessible you would have to fit a CSC delete kit. Whether you go DMF or SMF is a matter of choice and both have there pros and cons, it also depends on how much you want to spend. -

I would do this for you, however I have an R35 GT-R on the ramp at the minute with the engine and gearbox both out and waiting on parts from Japan and USA. By what you say you have had a Concentric Slave Cyl. (CSC) failure, which is very common on this model so no point fitting a stock CSC as the same will happen again. So the very least that you should do is fit an uprated CSC and as good engineering practice it would be best to replace the clutch kit as well. At almost 70,000 miles I would recommend that you consider replacing the flywheel as well when it is all stripped down, however the OEM DMF costs circa £1000.00. The way that you can get round this big expense, circa £1800.00 + labour, is to fit a quality uprated clutch and SMF kit which cost circa £1250.00 + labour which should be in the region of £200.00 - £250.00. -

I am just up the road from you in Perth mate. Upgrading your clutch and fly is very straight forward so no issues there. What model is your car, DE or HR ? The DE has a single air intake and the HR has a twin set up. -

Great pictures mate. I am one of the fortunate few that lives up here so kinda take it for granted and it is only when you see posts like this that you have got to pinch yourself. ❤️

350Z FACELIFT ROADSTER BREAKING FOR SPARES
ZMANALEX replied to ZMANALEX's topic in Breaking For Spares (350z & 370z)
This part is now sold Kev I am afraid. -
He already has as I have been advising all the way through the process including emphasising how important a leak down test was compared to just a compression test. My latest bit of advise was just to replace the complete cyl head with a low mileage example complete with valves, buckets and cams. I offered a 10,000 mile complete head which just needs dropped on, with no messy time consuming bench work required. Replacing the head is a 10 hour job and at £50.00 per hour, well I will leave you to do the maths.

Indeed it does and that is Brembo front sizes. I would drop in a registration number on the ECP website if you have not already done that. You know what they say: "If it sounds to good to be true then it usually is".

Great price if Pagid Brembo fitment, however, please do correct me if I am wrong, but the product code leads me to JDM fitment.

Hi mate, What year and model is your Roadster? What air conditioning part do you require? (all in stock) I stock repair sections for the Roadster rear arches, however for the fronts best just to replace the wings as they are not expensive. Just drop me a PM if I can help further.
