  3. Looks like you have had your pants pulled down I am afraid. Pull the car from Charles Hurst Nissan and take to someone who is not going to rip you off. By the way, it only takes 2 hours to swop over the injectors, so in theory, you are paying the whole labour charge and not 50%
  4. to the forum. Appears to be a few for sale in or around Edinburgh, which you could have a seat in. https://www.google.co.uk/search?source=hp&ei=KLY8XOrYFK-n1fAPndGpgAk&q=350Z+in+Edinburgh&btnK=Google+Search&oq=350Z+in+Edinburgh&gs_l=psy-ab.3...333.7090..9215...0.0..0.134.1326.15j2......0....1..gws-wiz.....0..0j0i131j0i22i30j0i22i10i30j33i22i29i30.-oZSxC9WEUY
  5. 4.9 mpg on track mate: Oh the joys:
  6. Forged motors if built properly and mapped properly and well maintained and driven properly should be extremely reliable and provide loads of fun and longevity. However, the cost of maintenance will vary greatly depending on whether you are planning to be a regular track day warrior or just fast road use. Depending on what power and to what extent you track the car then you will have regular financial outlays. Remember that every time that you "tinker" with the motor then you will probably require a tune. It is very important that your tuner/mapper can provide fast, professional, remote mapping if you are not close to a suitable mapper. Your choice of mapper will depend on your location and what ECU you run with. My 720 bhp/710 lbs/ft track 350Z is running Syvecs S6+ remotely tuned/mapped by Abbey. My 840 bhp/700lbs/ft track R35 GT-R is running Ecutek remotely tuned/mapped by Litchfields.

    What is this?

Best to replace it however no harm will come if you run without.
  8. Both in stock, low mileage and no rust. But up in Scotland, however, shipping is not a problem. Just drop me a PM if I can help further.
  9. PM received and replied to; In stock and good to go same/next day.
  10. First thing to do is to run an oil pressure test using a mechanical gauge directly off the engine. It will more than likely be the oil pressure sender or the gauge that is faulty, both of which I have in stock.
  11. Sounds like an oil pressure sender failure.
  12. I am not surprised in the slightest that reverting to an OEM air box has solved your issue. Always best to stick with the OEM air intake boxes for DE and HR models. By all means, swop out the filters for Cosworth, HKS, K&N or similar, but always retain the OEM filter box. Nissan did not spend many hours and mega money on developing their OEM air intake boxes for nothing.
  13. Just slip a pair of these into the rear pipes which will only take a minute at most: Job Done.
  14. Plenty new covers here: https://www.ebay.com/b/Engine-Valve-Covers-for-Nissan-350Z/33627/bn_1457574
  15. From the vid it would appear that you have a serious internal engine knock. I would recommend that you do not drive the car until further investigation is carried out, but I am fearing the worse I am afraid.
  16. Get well soon Paul and I hope that you have a speedy and full recovery.
