  1. I think we can both agree that telling someone that running same size tyres all round is not a good thing to do unless you're deliberately trying to have car that is unstable at the rear. For drifting yes, I get that, for road use no way.
  2. Just pour it into the header tank, when the engine is cold. You may well have to bleed it through if you've lost a lot though, which is the really fun bit...
  3. OCD does not appreciate the wonky steering wheel
  4. *insurance optional
  5. No. 225/45/18 and 245/45/18.
  6. We don't 'get around' insurance, we tell them what we have fitted and they charge us accordingly. Clicky axle is an easy fix, exhausts often break at that point and one of your fans isn't working, which is why your engine is getting hot.
  7. Post up the breakdown then, this thread is getting a bit fragmented.
  8. 225/45/18 front and 245/45/18 rear. And not Pirelli, they're awful. FK453 would be a much better choice and cheaper, too.
  9. You can check under the car when it's up on their ramps, when you pick it up. Take photos then, you may not get an easier chance! Get them to email you the bill before collection: If you pay up the full amount when you get there, it's going to make it awkward to get your money back and then we can't help you. You need to have the argument before you pay a penny.
  10. If budget isn't important, then you already have your answer. Best value tyres by miles, even if you ignore the performance benefits and just go on miles/pound.
  11. What we need is a breakdown of the bill, from the garage.
  12. Stickers are fine, but they're not to my taste. The Craptastic one, especially. Game over is alright, at a push.
  13. You really need to be telling us who this is. Keeping quiet helps no-one. I make it £715 for the labour alone, plus the oil, discs and lines. Call that another £400 (I'm being pessimistic here), and that's £1100, which ties in with your guesstimate. Has the work been completed to a high standard?
  14. No news on 'mine' yet either. Might give them a call today.
  15. Should be fine bud
  16. AFAIK, the engines are the same, yes.
  17. Sorry bud, but they look incredibly cheap and nasty from that photo. I think I'd have been happy to pay another £40 for the genuine article, given that you must've spent at least £30K on the car itself. Got any other pics, or any shots of them fitted? One pic can be deceiving, after all!
  18. Women and South African men. That's the only two people I've butted heads with on site.
  19. I know that feeling brother!
  20. Charge him travelling timeon top, make it more than what he's removing. That'll teach the tight *****. It's not Stuarty you're working for, is it?
  21. You're right, they do extend the durability, I just prefer to reapply a bit more often. That's a personal thing though.

I think Asian Hooker is probably my favourite song of theirs. I still need to buy their last album though.
