    Small tunnel run

Thought I recognised it. Enter at 30, boot it to a ton, drop to 30 at the end. Sorted

    Small tunnel run

Sound's good, but why film it in portrait??!! Sorry, pet hate. Where was that taken?
  3. @Steve: At least a grand, more if you want insurance and waivers. @Craig: Mate, you've no idea how much it's been doing my head in!
  4. He needs a pair of O2 sensor extenders. I think! Contact Clark Motorsport on here fella.
  5. Well, you know when you get your knob caught in your zipper... ;) Love you really xxx

    Quick answer

    Definitely.
  7. Every time I see someone else recommend the MPSS with the same fervent vigour I do, my heart swells with pride and I feel like an old man watching the newly trained youngsters tending to the flock
  8. Blimey. Is he quite young, or driving a silly power car?
  9. Most insurers aren't going to sting him too hard anyway for a non-fault accident on a company car. Hell, I barely got touched at all for my mishap in 2013 that was 100% my fault, as I didn't claim off my own insurance but someone else's. Very similar thing.
  10. If there was no accident, there can be no claim. The accident here was a poorly tied load damaging the vehicle internally, for which the driver is responsible. My original post was a bit misleading. There was no accident whilst during the driving (like you say, maybe the load shifted whilst on the ferry), but there clearly was something damaged.
  11. Full inspection, buy cheap, sell cheap. CatD cars can have been written off for some really silly reasons, so I'd never reject one out of hand.
  12. They're correct. Someone was in charge of the vehicle at the time, so the accident is someone's 'fault'. Whoever is driving is responsible for the load, regardless of if they loaded it or not (that's a legal thing, same as making sure a car is roadworthy before use etc). However, depending on how it's worded when your insurer asks if you have had any accidents, claims or convictions, depends on whether you need to tell them. In your case there was no accident whilst driving, you didn't personally claim and certainly no points involved, then I wouldn't feel the need to disclose it. Had you binned it whilst driving, that would clearly be different. If I wasn't driving when it happens, I'm not coughing up to it. Whoever was needs to take responsibility, however galling that may seem. If they don't, then they're likely to get the boot for gross misconduct. A grey area, definitely.

    Yes.
  14. Nor me. I feel left out.
  15. Oh that's just depressing, swapping one of the last great V8 lumps for a giant Duracell
  16. Rain sports are okay, more suited to an mx5 than a 350 though. You'll get so much more mileage out of the MPSS, that it makes them the best value tyre to buy more than anything. Chuck it on a 0% credit card, or even a normal one and pay it off over a couple of months: Long term, you'll be quids in.
  17. Grab 'em! I still really like those tyres: Bugger all grip, but loads and loads of feel.
  18. Gotcha. Good luck with it all! We move on Friday. I've spent all evening bubble wrapping speakers and guitars. Yay, what fun! Never moving again. Ever.
  19. Also, it's utter rubbish that it's illegal to have tyres that don't have the right load rating on them. Complete and utter tosh. An insurance guy might check, true, but that doesn't make it illegal. I'm not sure that it's an MOT fail, either.
  20. So you've not accepted the offer then?
  21. Completely different car matey, it's like comparing a mk2 MR2 with a mk3 MR2.
  22. Ignore those bloody ratings, they're useless! The MPSS will outlast the F1s, and by some margin. That's where you get your economy, not a 1% drop in mpg. The F1s are very good though, so would be a good second choice. Don't mix tyres though, see the Sticky for why.
  23. That's the exact same F12 that Jo drove earlier this year at Silverstone. The best bit for me was watching Chris gush over that F12. Having driven one, it's hands-down the most exciting thing I've ever had a go in. That noise will stay with me forever. Whatever you do, get a drive of one before you die. Beg, steal, borrow, whatever.
  24. BT dongles only work with non-iOS devices. Apple only allow wifi dongles on their ecosystem.
  25. I don't think it needs more power, just less weight and more emotion.
