  1. Proof? Not proof that some of their members say silly things, nor that some of their members hold racist views (we've proven that point already), but what makes you think that the ethos of the party is racist?
  2. Why edit your comments? You've not changed the price that I can see, so you're still making a profit less than the equivalent of a footlong Subway meal, in your own words. No point covering up now
  3. Our local independent just looks like a complete fruit loop, and while some of his policies are spot-on there's a lot of crazy on there too. I feel sorry for him really, must cost a fair bit to go through all this for pretty much zero gain. Bit disappointed that I didn't get a single Tory leaflet through my door during this campaign. I know it's a pretty safe seat, but even so a bit of effort would be appreciated.
  4. But still a profit, nevertheless. That's trading matey, whichever way you look at it. If profit is that small, you'd have been better off not bothering with it at all, no harm done then.
  5. Indeed. How much do you make per set on these Brad?
  6. Well, I'll sleep easier tonight knowing this. Probably worth putting on the actual thread in question next time, rather than on a completely random post.
  7. It's not bad at all. However, and I don't know if anyone else has found this, but on Xbone once you have the wheel connected there's no way of accessing the menu system, as it requires you to use the trigger buttons which the wheel doesn't have (paddles act as RB/LB). This means that 4/5 of the general options are out of reach, and even worse than that is that I can't get to the geo/damping menus so all the cars handle like buses! Silly, silly move methinks. I tried using a controller but that refuses to do anything when you have a wheel plugged in. Other than that, it's rock hard. The R500 was awful around Donny, but the Ginetta GT3 was much better round Spa. I binned the R18 out of Eau Rouge and wrote it off
  8. Ah, I remember the days of having to drill out every one of those damn holes where they filled with brake dust!
  9. The Zed wasn't designed around Bridgestones. There's not a huge amount of difference between a DE and a HR 350Z, yet somehow Nissan changed from 040 to 050A tyres. In a marvellous piece of coincidence, they were the tyres at the time that Bridgestone wanted to promote... It's all down to which manufacturer will pay the most to have their tyres on a car. Michelin spend a fortune getting N rated status for the Porsche tyres, but the difference between an N rated 050A and a regular 050A is zero in the real world. I ran both, couldn't feel a difference at all.
  10. I dunno, he did alright against Valuev who was a complete monster of a man. One fight does not a great boxer make though, and all that.
  11. I've noticed that, in general, the Left seem to be much angrier and noisy than the Right. That's across social media, mind.
  12. Maybe not so much just the people, more the whole situation? Dunno, I'm just grasping here, I've never had the same issue.
  13. Still beat you
  14. Probably because everyone is so scared of saying the wrong thing, or the right thing but taken the wrong way.
  15. It all depends on the conversation between the user and the operator. Any idiot can use a machine to get a car between the green lines it tells you to, but OEM specs are incredibly safe and dull. You're better off going to someone who understands how the different settings can affect a car for the better, and just what the driver wants the car to handle like.
  16. 10.5 is too much. 10 is the most you should go with that width.
  17. Hah, SFQs, I'm pinching that one! Welcome along Luke Zeds are great for munching the miles, the seats are proper comfy and I never had any issues doing silly mileages in mine.
  18. Alignment, alignment, alignment. First stop, always, on any car. Should be done a minimum of once a year, preferably twice. Not having any details on your old car or your new one, it's difficult to pass judgement call on whether it could also be the bushes. Or very possibly worn dampers.

    A55 crash

    That's a Chim. Deffo.
  20. Coz oversteer is more likely to kill you than understeer as its considered easier to control. If you have more grip at the back than the front you are much less likely to oversteer and you are more likely to not die as a result ^^^This. Tyre centres are pussies. I always put new tyres on the driven wheels on FWD cars.
  21. Racism is all about being racist against the right people. Swap negroes for pikies and no-one would bat an eyelid. Well, except the pikies, but they're too busy laying tarmac and stealing your dags to complain. In all seriousness though, there's no doubt there's some seriously bad apples in UKIP that need to get the boot and join the BNP where they belong. There is zero place for some of their attitudes in the world, much less politics.
  22. Because you turned slightly, and because you have mismatched tyres I suspect that the front end had more grip than the back which was compounded by you braking. If you'd had matching tyres you'd either have had the same grip, or much lower grip levels which you'd have been wiser to. Also, you were going too fast for the conditions. That's as big a reason as the tyres *EDIT* Yeah, what Grundy said.
  23. But that's what he's going to think/claim if the engine is knackered. Seriously, this is a really bad idea. If you want the engine that badly, get whoever is going to fit it for you to purchase & supply it, as it becomes their problem then.
  24. Must be the month of the pearoast.
