  1. I suspect the slave/master cylinder. Fluid should be fine unless you have reason to think otherwise, and if the clutch isn't slipping that's probably okay too.
  2. I dunno, I think they should ask about the awareness course. Whether you look at it as a positive thing (more aware of the risks) or a negative one (caught speeding in the first place), it should still have an impact on the premium. Quite honestly, I think I'd prefer them to treat a SAC the same as an SP30. Maybe not fashionable to say on a motoring forum, but there you go.
  3. But if they ask, you do have to tell them, you can't lie.

    R888... R?!

See, everyone says that about the regular 888s and I found them to be incredibly good in the wet, considering. I can't see these being any worse.
  5. If an insurer asks, I would simply decline to insure my car with them.
  6. Gearbox and suspension. Suspension especially, and with that mileage it's going to need doing. Budget to replace it, and budget to replace the gearbox. If you can do both comfortably, then I say go for it
  7. No idea, Porkers seem to be worse for it than anything.
  8. I'm glad he's sticking around, politics needs characters like him.
  9. Likewise, my FB feed is full of it right now. Tbh I can't be bothered to argue with them, I'm as unlikely to convince them I'm right as they are to convince me I'm wrong, so I say let everyone have their little rant and get it out of their system. By September, no-one will be that bothered.
  10. Which is why nobody voted for them.

    R888... R?!

Yup, totally legal. Checked on the DT website, my sizes are available next month!

    R888... R?!

http://www.toyo.co.uk/tire/pattern/proxes-r888r ZOMG TYRE FAP WIN So need to try these when they come out in my sizes for the MR2.
  13. Tried that, it just ruined my calibration altogether. It made the wheel turn 360 for about 30 degrees of movement, which is a smashing bug to have. Went back to default and it was fine.
  14. http://www.isrtv.com/pc-racing/project-cars-force-feedback-tips-and-settings/ Don't just read the text, that makes little sense still, watch the entire video and try it at the same time. I found I needed to put the spindle master scale up to about 40-50 to get the feel I needed, which ties in with what the guy says when he mentions the PS4 being too strong and the Xbone being too weak.
  15. I'd have no issue with community service being done in exchange for JSA (or whatever it is these days), as indeed the Tories are planning to do with 18-21 who don't find work after training. The only time I've claimed benefits was back in 2002, when the company I was working for went pop. I didn't actually need the money as I had savings, and was planning to go abroad and work any way, but if I didn't sign on for three weeks they wouldn't give me the redundancy money I was entitled to. That was the big sum I wanted, not the piddling amount of JSA. It was ridiculous, I had to turn up with my little book they gave me and say I'd been to interviews and been actively seeking work, but to tick the box. It's that kind of crap that is/was a waste of time and money, for everyone.
  16. The HRA is being replaced with something hopefully a bit more common sense (giving prisoners the right to vote, anyone?), so that's probably a good thing IF they can get the wording right. Snoopers charter can FRO. As can repealing the fox hunting ban. NHS has been broken for years, nothing new there. It's been struggling since as long as I can remember and I'm only 35. When push comes to shove it's great (A&E), for the routine stuff it's hopeless and private medical cover is the answer. It doesn't matter who got in, the NHS will still be broken in 5,10, 20 years time. The NHS saved my Mum from ovarian cancer back in '97, so I want to see it succeed as much as anyone. And yes, I meant scum who were rioting and defacing the memorial. Absolutely people should have the right to peaceful protest, but I can't help but wonder where these people were before the election, if it was so important to them? There's another march on soon, an anti-austerity one, which will no doubt kick off some more. I find it incredibly distasteful to do so right now tbh, as I see it more that they're marching against democracy as their favourite didn't win.
  17. I very nearly gave up on it and went to do something else instead. When the most exciting bit of the race is a jackman with some ice on his balls, you know F1 has a problem. As much as I want to watch it to see Lewis win, I'm getting increasingly bored of this now.
  18. You'll need to add a ground wire in, there are instructions in here. I'd run the mike under the dash and then up the A pillar, just pull the plastic back a bit and shove the cable in. I'm puzzled as to how you've got a car with no audio controls on the steering wheel but you do have cruise, as I thought that all Zeds came with stereo controls on the LHS but cruise was always a GT-specific option on the RHS? Not saying you're wrong, clearly I've had that wrong all these years!
  19. I've spent the evening tuning the FFB on my wheel, as I wasn't happy with it at all. It's now massively improved, and I've got proper feeling, but still needs more work. There's simply too many options there for this, it doesn't need them. FM5 is perfect out of the box for this, so why did they bother? It's also far too complex, and the descriptions are crap. I did find a guide that should help, I'll post it tomorrow.
  20. I thought that at first, but actually they're just about right. Nobody really wants FWD so the token Clios are enough, and road cars aren't much fun either on track when racing so no need for too many of those either. Personally I'd like to see more GT3/GT2 cars, but without the Pork or Fezza licences they're a bit limited.
