  1. Trouble is, if they DQ him it makes the stewards look weak and toothless. I just can't see them doing it, and tbh he's been punished once so I don't think they should go back and look again. Now, if the stewards had DQ'd him and then referred it to the FIA, that would be a different story.
  2. Slap on the wrist and a promise to send him to the naughty corner if he does it again. Tbh I wouldn't want them to do anything else at this point. Stewards decided that disqualification was too harsh, so since they're not going to ban him (as that would make the stewards look stupid) and he's already got three more points on his licence (and no more can be added AIUI) then there's little else to be said or done. It's a stupid state of affairs, stewards should've had the balls to kick him out in the first place.
  3. Secret Of Mana has the best music of the 16bit generation. SoR isn't far behind though, nor is Sonic 2.
  4. I bought an import Dreamcast just so I could play RE: Code Veronica My current main SNES is a US import, think I've got a JDM one around somewhere too.
  5. This man (sorry, generic internet assumption) has managed to wangle Pork-based product in to a non-Pork thread, I have a new hero! Well played sir, well played.
  6. Erm, did you not know they did this back in 2015?! It's on PS4, Xbone and PC. Okay, so it's just a HD version of the 2002 remake of the 1996 original, but it's still updated and pretty.
  7. I'm never growing up, ever. I can't imagine a time without me playing video games, even if I do drift back and forth between consoles and PCs.
  8. Oh god yes. A billion times better than the CTR.
  9. What?! Audi dashes are bloody lovely, by far the best out there now including the sportier & flashier brands (Ferrari, Bentley etc). Merc stuff is garbage though, I hate their clicky buttons.
  10. I can see why they didn't sell many, didn't realise it was that much. MD was £130 + Sonic when I got mine, SNES was £150 + SMW but dropped to £130 to match it. Eventually it was £99 for the console and one controller but no games, for both.
  11. And wasn't the console £400? Still, arcade perfect versions of SF2 ripoffs
  12. Indeed, they're cheap by comparison these days. It's the equivalent of £78 now, assuming 1992 as the year (launch of the SNES). How the hell did I afford to buy any of them?!
  13. I just thought you might not want the risk of a £100K bill in a few months that you're legally obligated to pay. My bad, I'll carry on ignoring anything Tesla-related in the future.
  14. What makes me laugh is that we're all sitting here having a jokey console war, and there's kids out there right now having serious ones over the Xbone and PS4
  15. Just imagine how much more love there could be had you picked the better console
  16. Truth hurts bro. Genuinely can't believe there's still people out there that thing the MD was better than the SNES. Do you all believe the moon landings were faked too? MD had better game boxes, purely because plastic over cardboard. There.
  17. Nah, it wouldn't make any extra difference at all really, or none that you'd actually notice to the extent of making the cost worth it.
  18. Filthy n00b! It was the first 32bit home console, basically a huge adaptor you stuck in the top of your Megadrive/Genesis and ran specific 32bit carts. A true Sega fan would know this
  19. It won't need remapping, but you'd crazy to fit a plenum spacer and not get it remapped.
  20. This is what worries me. Are you 100% sure you didn't sign a form when you picked up the courtesy car? And if you did, are you sure it doesn't say that you accept liability for the costs? Ignoring all that, you have a legal responsibility to minimise costs anyway, so if it's not sorted soon you need to be looking to get a cheaper loaner. Still via the AMC, but you do have to do it or this is going to come back and bite you. Plus there's the moral side of it, by increasing costs all you do is push up everyone else's insurance (including your own) too.
  21. Star Wars was ace, but b*stard hard. I really struggle with that, even today.
  22. We did, and it made a huge difference to our mortgage. Meant I had less spare cash to spend on huge TVs and big stereos... I mean, carpets and dishwashers, but long term it was the right move.
