  1. Couple of my two taken today, nice to finally get a pic of Zel where he doesn't look stoned
  2. Supecharged or supercharged...? I jest, I'll play properly now. I wouldn't buy an Ultima, as you'll likely grow hateful of it in anything other than perfect weather on track. I wouldn't buy the A45 as it's just a tarted up A class (sorry Colin!). GT-R I can see the attraction if you like them, so maybe one of those although I suspect it'll get pricey to run. SC'd E92 is probably my pick out of those, however I suspect it'll feel very bland coming after the VX. But then, most things will I guess. C63 not an option? The older one with the actual 6.3, one of the finest engines ever made and likely never to be seen again? Or a Maser GT, that high-revving V8 is absolutely gorgeous and it's a proper stunning car to look at too.
  3. What's an E99??
  4. Did you mean E43 or A45?

    Done and done.
  6. Is there a difference then? That's where I must be going wrong.
  7. Think of it as a shakedown cruise!

*you're Sorry dude, I'm not feeling great at the moment so I probably mis-placed my wrath, apologies. However, can you not see why the two questions you asked are obviously answered in the first post? I'm not sure if you've noticed, but you tend to ask a lot of questions that have already been answered on the same thread: It makes it look like you want spoon-feeding a yes or no answer a lot of the time, rather than drawing your own conclusion. Still, sorry for snapping.
  9. Blatantly stolen from Kringle on PH: Or
  10. Straight line runs are the least interesting way of judging cars. UK roads with like for like capable drivers, an Elise will be much quicker point to point than a 350. Only thing that would be quicker would be an Evo I reckon. Anything fancier (Ferrari, Lambo etc) and you wouldn't drive with as much purpose as it'd be too wide for some B-roads and a bit pricier to fix. Even the current 911 is too wide, else I'd probably add the Turbo to the Evo. Still wouldn't drive as well as the Elise.
  11. This is true, we really should actually sort something out properly
  12. It's like half a Fiesta inside

Sometimes I have to wonder if you're actually for real. Read the thread, read the photo I posted, and come to your own conclusion.

See, this is where Michelin are just utterly incapable of marketing things correctly (see: MPS3). The 4 is better than the SS, but the 4S is better than both! They're really good at misleading the consumer, I'll give them that.

Except it's not. At all. And certainly not if youre running 18" wheels.

I would've thought the giant photo of the magazine posted in my opening post would've cleared that up.
  17. A modern TVR should be the perfect car for me. Light, V8, manual 'box, FR layout: In theory I should want nothing more than one of these. But not when it looks as gopping as that.
  18. Oh, and as spotted by a guy on PH, here's the official launch pics. Check out pic 3, that's some really classy colour matching on that door right there...
  19. That is ugly as sin. It's just drooping everywhere, like it's been melted. I expected bland, I didn't expect ugly. And no way in a billion years is that a £90K interior. And yes, it does matter, especially at this price level. And EPAS? Really? Only two manufacturers (Ferrari & Porsche) have managed to get a decent feel from EPAS right now, and they've had a budget just for that that I'm sure could have built this car twice over. Maybe they've got it right first time, but I remain sceptical. Side exits are cool though. And of course it'll sound good. But that is an absolute waste of the TVR name, and doubly the Griffith one.
  20. MB called, they want the front of the AMG-GT back.
  21. I'm expecting generic supercar looks, and a naff interior. TVR should've been left to die and the wonderful memories they gave us. For me, £100k+ isn't a TVR.
  22. Amen fellow V8 brother!
  23. Most things can be sorted in PP with the right software, ironically that's why the GoPro is so good as it records in a friendly RAW file. As long as you're not shooting night stuff, I'm not sure I'd be too fussed at the lens quality: At that price it's all much of a muchness. When I used to film stuff with my GP externally then as soon as it was in the sealed case wind noise became much less of an issue, so a decent case would be a must OR a shielded mic. @StevoD has some good experience with his cam and the ext mic, be interested to hear his views.
  24. So basically the HR is for sports car people, the DE is for diesel people I had a Revup, so I've no idea where that leaves me
  25. HR feels significantly quicker than any DE I've ever driven, FI cars aside of course. The extra 1000/500 revs makes so much difference to the experience. Is it much quicker? Well no, driver will make more difference than a few poxy bhp here and there, but the HR is far more exciting to drive.
