  3. He will be digging up the motorways - widening them and making tug boat lanes!
  4. Looks ace Now then how much Duct tape do I need to stop my Camcorder from falling off round those corners!
  5. Come on - a teeny guide would be nice here please - I intend to do mine next time which with my mileage wont be long!!!

    Seating looms

I would say so yes - the cost of production 2 looms etc woudl outweigh the cost of materials involved! also the seperate fitting time? Well my old Cavalier had all the wiring from the top end model even though it was an LS!! (ooh I fitted an electric aerial to it )
  8. Blimey will this document be leather bound with Gold leaf club logo? (Maybe a tartan wrap to give it a regional flavour?) Stew - think you have my details but I can resend if its easier?

  14. Doh!! foiled again - sorry Col - I was just joking you know that!! Damn you keep emails!! Did you work for the CIA? yes Colin you should eat large cream cakes every time you go around a left handed bend to offset your speedy driving style!
  15. Hey I can stick one of my chocolate muffins down my trousers! Ok Ok I will leave the roof up and wear dark glasses with false beard inside the car!!
  16. Ok so admission time - I am and have been a big X files fan from Day 1 when it came out - way back when.... so I was sceptical (ho ho ironic eh) about the new film as the end of the series was well tied up, answers explained etc? Soooo is this film reheating last nights takeaway and warming up a script , or is it a good film? I get the feeling the actors need some easy money although Gillian Anderson is a good actress - David Duchovny is a bit poo at acting as a general rule! Anyone seen it and what do you think?
  17. What about owners draped over their cars in some arty pose!!
  18. if its recent and you can scrape it clean then fine but if it looks like its been there a while you will need to tackle it sooner rather than later as it will get under the good paint and you end up with a larger problem! You can use things like Jenolite - which converts rust from Iron2 to Iron 3 organic compound I remember from soemwhere?? Or use Metal Ready rust remover - which is a phosphor based liquid - you just dab a bit and it eats the rust off - then wash off with water - dry with tissue and off you go - worked for me for years, http://auto.frost.co.uk/frost/Metal%20Ready
  19. Just dont get behind Colin - he just drives like a granny - its such a shame he cant drive a bit quicker!!
  20. How did I miss this thread??? Congratulations Mart - I always thought you were a natural for this job!! In fact you spend more time on here than Sarnie?? Dont forget Martin has also provided off forum IT support in the way of remote internet access for me -way beyond the call of duty! Well done
  21. Cool pics rmmackfc Mate at work has got into that kind of photography recently and is churning out really nice stuff Stick with it and keep us posted with any more
  22. Do you remember those doughnut fat tyres - look at the profiles - compared to the rubber bands we have today!!
  23. Oi cheeky bugga's !! My van is usually quite clean as a rule - sad but true! I have it wired to the mains overnight so if anyone tries to write anything on it they end up with an instant Afro hairstyle! After topping up the engine oil and putting Redex in the tank its actually starting to pick up speed these days which means I look authentic on the road - just need to tailgate people and deposit that copy of the Sport on the dash and remains of bacon butty next to it!
  24. That looks like my Bosch angle grinder!!! Just a case of fitting the pad and sponge - obviously remove the grinder disc first!! Good luck with it chaps - I may even do before and after pics when I tackle the van again - this time with some Farcela G3 (Mer does work well with the Aldi polisher and is failry gentle - too gentle for my van's former graphics on the side panels.)
