I miss my Lotus so much, wish I still had it, but the zed is almost as much fun, depends if you prefer going around corners quickly or sideways

I cant wait either, been for my little practise earlier really need to watch my rear tyres now as there just a little bit low See you sat, ill be the 1 trying to link every turn on both circuits

Just put my Rays on the car ready for some sliding, on Sat, going to have to go play when it gets dark tonight to get all the marbles off from the last trackday, or it could be a bumpy ride from kent to cheshire

Its a bit of a beast, puts the zed to shame, but def cant use it everyday. It is also full of mods, gets its new supercharger, ecu and exhaust nxt week Fantastic, I do like the modded ones. Do you use it in the sea or on lakes Darren? How many HP will that be then? I use it on both but prefer lakes, and rivers when im feeling naughty (blasting past pubs full of people on a sunday afternoon at 80+ whilst there tryin to have a sunday lunch is so comical. The guy at the shop reckons it should be pushing about 260-265 bhp with these bits, next its changing the intercooler for a huge one and a blow off valve for a further 20-25 (so they say) we shall see

You ll be fine in the mx-5 m8! There is not much traction on the tracks anyway so you will not need more power... Thing is tho you have to drive to oulton park in the banger first!!! Ill be more inclined to crash to though, just ordered a torsen diff for it, hopefully it will come by thurs Im going to get both cars ready, put the rays on the zed and toss a coin on friday morning

I thought about welding it, but i wanna use it for proper trackdays n not just drifting, drove my mates e30 with welded diff this afternoon n didnt like it. I did buy the car to stop myself from sliding the zed around burning out tyres and eventually crashing it. If I can get a diff this week ill def bring it :-)

Right I have myself a dilema, yesterday I invested in a std 98 1.8 mx-5, I have plans to turn it into a trackday toy, with a few modifications, SUPERCHARGER, suspension, brakes and LSD. Now do I bring this to Oulton Park or the ZED? had a little slidy fun earlier and really had to work it hard to keep it sliding without an lsd, so dont know how well ill be able to link the drifts, I can do it in the zed with ease (most of the time).

What a coincidence Been on this thread this morning and 5mins ago had a guy who works for them at my workplace,

Atleast having a 1.2 will save you £££ on petrol, you wont have to wash it, you can park it where you like and boy you will appreciate the ZED when you get it back

Thats a real shame, always nasty to see a damaged car I hope you get your car back soon, I dont think you should claim for a big replacement sports car, the guy who hit your car obviously done it by accident otherwise he wouldnt have left his details. Thats bloody good of him to have done that, many people wouldnt so I think just claiming for the bumper is fair, but anything more is taking the ****. If everyone did it think how much higher the insurance premiums would be

Insurance is alot less on a zed also

I know 2 people who have brought cars from there and have had no problems, I nearly did too but I bought a zed
