  1. Really liking that. I'd be tempted to do them in anthracite, and possibly smooth in the groove on the spokes, but eitherway, looking mint.
  2. No worries, hope it works for you.
  3. Pics of the 63 when you get it please.
  4. Here you go: viewtopic.php?f=35&t=27472&hilit=throttle
  5. Try doing an ECU reset, and the throttle position re-learning procedure. Both can be found in the guides section.
  6. Match the one with the other 3... they look ace Also, one of these would go well in your engine bay: viewtopic.php?f=166&t=66167&start=0
  7. Can you rent one? £100 seems steep. Im with the above though, i've only ever separated them with a fork and a big hammer.
  8. That looks ace, but that looks more like an anodized finish which might be difficult. Not sure it would look as good with a regular paint finish. ...think the car needs something though... maybe paint on the lip or even just some colour coded nuts for now.
  9. Yep will do. Its not till december anyway, im just making sure ive got enough time to fix my issue if i needed to.
  10. It seems that that the eml itself will not result in failure as it is not included in the list of mil's (malfunction indicator lights) that will result in failure, they are:- Illumination of malfunction indicator light (MIL) for electronic power steering, electronic stability control, electronic park brake control, brake fluid warning lamp, tyre pressure monitoring system and air bag/preâ€tensioner/ load limiter An eml (engine management light) should only normally attract an "advisory" which is what happened to a friend of mine recently, if you are still unsure then ring your MOT test centre and check directly Apparently there is some confusion as on some vehicles and EML can include one of the above MIL's EDIT **B*gger** you guys beat me to it Cheers Graham... at least you've given me more confidence as you're interpreting it the same as me.
  11. Nope, EML was not a failure previously, as i got through last years MOT with an advisory (the car is complaining but it's still within emissions standards) - so it looks like im in the clear. Cheers anyway.
  12. Jeysus... Never heard of anything like that before?!?!
  13. Really...? I was of that opinion until i read the following
  14. Sorry for the thread revival, but i've got a question about the MOT changes for my other car... Is an illuminated check engine light a failure now under these new rules? My fiesta has the eml light on for a faulty cat - but its still within the emission threshold to pass an MOT so i dont want to spend £350 fixing it if i dont have to. Having had a google, it says illuminated warning lights are now a failure, but it goes on to list specific warning lights, such as ABS, TCS etc - but there's no mention of the EML. Does anyone know?
  15. Autotrader is the only place i ever look for a car. However i've sold 4 or 5 via ebay over the years.
  16. As it sounds like these tyres are just required on a temporary basis, why not get some part worns on for the time being. Will be far better than your Wanli's! Try http://www.thetreadshop.co.uk/
  17. This wont end well, but i really want to see what happens, i vote go for it. However i think it will end up costing you about the same as a wrap buy the end of it...
  18. Exactly that, swap the valve and they will work much better. Gort, no harm in leaving it open, however i think under spirited driving, in theory your washer fluid could come through your wipers despite you not pressing the button for it.
  19. That's exactly what it was, replaced it with a straight though connector thanks a lot, people. The same non return valve is about £2 in Halfords if you want to replace it.
  20. Id be scared of killing myself in that thing
  21. I think the mileage would be fine, but id be asking why its £3k cheaper than the next cheapest zed
