No not jealous at all. It just seems that all of your posts that I read are about how you have a little dilemma that's being caused by all the money you've got. Ok, I have never said this before because I don't think a public forum is the right place to discuss it but I have a lot of serious health issues - that is why I am not currently working - and I try to keep the forum discussions to nicer topics to be honest. If you don't like it I am sorry but I don't really owe you an explanation and am happy for you to continue with your life whilst I continue with mine. Take care and be happy

My Thrustmaster TX has just arrived today. I've just had a quick 2 minute go to check that it works, and it feels brilliant already. Word of warning for anyone else who buys from the link i put up - it comes with a foreign plug only (i'm guessing european), but luckily i had a travel adapter and it worked fine. I'll mount it on my racing rig after work tonight and put some pics up!

I feel like im going to be well behind the curve in terms of skill by the time i start playing properly. I've taken the decision not to play anymore until my wheel arrives. I've not even started on the career yet, I only played the single race mode since i got it. Wheel should be here this week though - i had an email yesterday saying it's been exported from the depot in Dublin!

I wouldn't consider myself a smoker, but i've always had the odd cigar when the mood takes me. I'm on a bit of a journey trying to try as many brands as possible. The best i've found to date (which was a gift from the USA) has been a Gurkha Beast! I recently got my own humidor and have got a few choice cigars in there at the moment. I've just had a Dunhill Aged this evening, with a glass of Port* (*several glasses) Whilst i'm very much an amateur on the scene, my brother is trying to make a career out of cigars! He's been a big fan for a long time, and he's in the process of opening up a website for cigar sales. I've helped him out a little with the site, but his long term goal is to be able to quit work and open up a cigar shop! If anybody is a fan, please take a look. Im getting an odd sound glitch quite often (every race). The engine sounds get quite badly distorted for about 15 seconds. Other than that i've not had too many other issues.

Yup pro was a mistake, the game is rather harsh in its introduction, I was struggling with it too but a group of us have been playing with settings and it's now much much better. I tried to add you to come join Ekona, myself and some friends but I guess you didn't see the invite. Will be back on Sunday so can try then. Stick with it though, it's got lots of rough edges but given time and support this is going to be a gem, I'm loving it. No didnt see the invite sorry. I've put the racing line on and enabled TCS and ABS. What really seems to have done the trick though is i've increased the throttle and brake deadzone and reduced the throttle sensitivity. Much better now... just managed about 10 laps of Oulton in an RUF in light rain! ...feel like im cheating using the racing line though.

... probably shouldt say this, but our company manages the ticketing systems for Ipswich, Norwich and Brentford. I've been managing the Wembley preparations directly with Ipswich & Norwich all week! We also have Sheffield United, and have recently signed Southend Utd (although Southend arent on our platform yet), but both of those are in playoffs too. It's been a busy week at our offices!

Man im struggling a bit with Project Cars. I've done about 15 laps of Donnington so far, and only kept it on the track for 1 full lap! I'm driving the Ginetta Junior, and still struggling. I went for the Pro difficulty. Think i need to dial it down a bit.

Awesome. Just watched the review on this. Looking at £250 for the basic unit, which is a bit rich for me at the mo (middle of moving house). Might pickup a cheap wheel for the time being, and upgrade in 12 months.

I'd been looking forward to it all week. Went up to my brothers house, started drinking at about 5pm. Went into town, and at about 2am i was puking up from drinking too much. Passed out on the sofa shortly after and missed the fight. Regretting it today.
