  4. Is the phone cable attachment thats on the UK car not built into the loom though? Not sure if anyone has tried the stereo and the cradle... Guessing there isnt in any phone steering wheel controls on your JDM?

    Bose wont work unless you have the bose in already, different fittings IIRC... UK ones are ar$e end of useless! Go aftermarket!

  7. I take it that you have found that as a pic, and not made it as the gauges are pointing towards the passanger!! Personally not for me... best place for me is replacing the stock ones, or use a gauge pod... unless you go camp2!!

  10. You will loose cause you will probably run lean. I lost power with headers, decats, 3" zorst, but Abbey found all the power!!! Just needs mapping to find the power and torque...
  11. heat sheild is above the rear back box and above the cats, but dont remove if they are close, you may find a seem weald may sort the rasp out. Easier to find out if its up on a ramp and reving... Looking for £500 + delivery, but at present there is a provisional sale on it. Just PM'd the guy to chase to see if he still wants it..

  13. Your not dreaming, there were ECU's that did allow mods to function. but as non of the mods had the ability to chage AFR and timing then you wouldnt have seen that sort of power!! I somehow think hes dreaming mate! The weight of all the stuff on it will cancel out any mods hes made anyway!
  14. Veilside list it for $520 retail in CF and $340 in FRP, so am thinking it may be a typo on the Z-store site..
  15. TBH fitment on my car wasnt great on the veilside but it was spot on when Jon put it on his car.. Envy do have others in stock though like the mines one.. As its a carbon lip your after, perhaps a trip down there to see what the fitments like?

  18. You may have rasp or vibration from touching from the heat shields... I have a nice 5zigen one for sale that is still loud, but just when it needs to be What I dont get is virtually all Zeds are the same underneath, so why dont they just make them to fit? One hits the sub frame, the other one dosnt! QC dosnt sound great...

  21. Nope, one of the NS members discovered the heatsheild bit and the requirement for a simple seam weld. Cured it on his. Removed the front ones on mine at Abbey the other week and I now have a rasp at the back. Will be on the ramp again soon so gonna do a vibration check! No rattles on mine.... Just lots of burbleing and popping!!! Esp on a 5th to 3rd change down... havnt noticed flames though!! Maybe next week

Having heard a Scorpion and a Nismo side by side, that were both Popcharge, stock cats and y-back the scorpion isnt louder than the Nismo and the Nismo sounds far better and more meaty.. Also under load on the motroway, there is no comparrison. Also! Sorry Chris, the rasps come from the heast shields above the cats (a quick seem weld or if your using decats or hiflows remove them) and the heat sheilds above the back box. I havnt removed the one above the back box yet as I need to find some non metal flexible heat shield. Its to do with the increased resonance of the thinner wall pipes. The one I have on now as its super light with decats has increased the rasp I had before... (Also think I get a bit of rasp off the grill on the rear of the CS bumper.. Think I need to get some sikoflex on that!
