Silver lead covers are the 5zigen Pro Racer Harness (Grounding Kit) But I do know if somewhere you can get some to go over the spills kit.... Didnt these things used to be a 7 dayer, ie you had to turn up at a police station within 7 days showing you had changed the mod? The whole numberplate thing is going to change very soon, Oct 1st I think... Plates cant be produced with any writting on them apart the reg and a euro or GB symbol... No dealer numbers etc. If companys produce them ie online numberplate companys then they can be subject to a £2000 fine, this includes show plates etc Cant figure out the bit about black/silver plates and not being legal on new cars, WTF can they just be on pre 1972 cars.... Bet its cause a few Police Chiefs and MP's collect old cars and dont want the crappy white / black, yellow / black ones... Am guessing that the system on the ANPR cams wouldnt pick these up as they are "readable" ? Fookin nanny state... Due to their incompetence of having a joined up system, a useful side of this system will never happen, ie an alert of 2 cars having the same plates on them in different parts of the country which could help to track stolen cars / plates...

Interesting concept the RFID one, we have just done a major install at a hospital that uses it to find wheel chairs and essential hospital equipment by using a phone or a pc terminal, same technology could be used with some sort of proximity device... i.e allowing the car to get a certain distance away and then shutting it down and locking it up... Another one would be to use fingerprint technology to scan allowed users to drive once key is in the ignition, if they have the key and their print dosnt match then it would allow the car to drive 2 miles at speed and then cut to valet mode, alert the police with its location secretly using a GPS location and then bobs you uncle.... Alternativly it would drive for 2 miles, then cut to valet, lock the doors and release sleeping gas into the car... Some of these things will come in the future, but having something like a keypad may mean that the asailent keeps hold of you or "forces" you to punch in the number... If you had a fob, they wouldnt know if you had the system and it would give you a chance to run like fook... Dont clifford do something like the blackjax system? I still think that serious deterents via the courts would help instead of the usual slap on the wrist... Sharia Law would be good... get caught stealing, loose your hand/s.... Also guys, I know this has just happened to Andy and the chap with the Honday but this dosnt happen all the time in the uk in this way, its prob on the same scale of chance of winning the lottery... Just be aware of whats going on around you, have a plan in your head of "what if"

3G is like the bit in your phone for getting MMS messages and looking at the Web. Its the mobile network rather than being a public or private network, like wireless. A hotspot works as part of someones or a companys IT Network, so you have to be quite close to the router. 3G should work anywhere. You may have to put a simcard in. If the Q1 with 3G dosnt have a wirless network card, I would go with the wirless and then get a 3G dongle from Orange or 3...

My GT-S need sorting out soon as they have a few scrapes and been hit by the UK weather. Do you know what the rough cost is per wheel and will they take something like the GT-S apart to do something a little "different"? No idea mate, sorry. You could try... Click Start Click "Run" Type "msconfig" Select startup and you will see a list of programmes that start with Windows. Decide which ones you don`t want to start and untick the checkbox next to them. You can also click on the sevices tab tick the box that says hide all Microsoft sevices. You will then see what is running along side Windows, again you can untick anything that you don`t want. When you have finished click on apply then ok. You will be prompted to restart your computer. Once your system has restarted, you will be presented with a screen that says, msconfig has been used to make changes etc, tick the box that says do not run on startup and then ok. Am on Vista so cant check that but from memory thats how to do it. If someone that is happy with PC's with XP can verify!! It works on Vista too BTW!

Seem to remember having a car with 15" rims on and wanting to got to MASSIVE 16" rims! How time have changed and I am only 36! I have about 289 out of mine at the moment, even though I love it I do want more... Human nature says if you get 400 you will prob want more too in time! If you speak to the guys on this forum and the other one that have owned and built, then 400bhp isnt easy and not easy to keep without some ongoing attention. Have a search for turbo and there are loads of posts and discussion, hope you get what you want in the end

Check out Kev @ Envys PE kitted car if you want a fine example of what can be done... And then check out everything else thats been done to make sure you can keep it going... The 350z is a great car as it is but it does leave you wanting a little more power. Buy one, drive it, get the feeling, work out what more you want and then start to plan Stage 3 ~(There is a stage 2 that most people do first!) IMO! If your in the south, it would be a good idea to get someone in the area to do the work cause you will be back to get things sorted and its best under its own steam not on the back of a low loader.... Abbey are good, but very busy running a racing team, they may not get back to you for a few weeks or be able to fit you in. They are also great at N/A upgrades... Where you based in the South?

What numbers are you looking at getting out of an APS kit? 20 inch rims? Your going to be stuck for rubber... 19's are good enough and plenty of decent rubber to chose from. 18's are better if you want to track a turbo beast as more track rubber available. Saying used to be 19's for show. 18's for GO.... If your looking at 400+bhp then its not just about the turbos, its about everything else, drive train etc.. Decent 20" rims that will take the torque your going to be looking at 2k inc rubber... Kit £850 min and thats for a copy or used, Spray about £900... If your looking at more than 400 bhp, you need to make sure about brakes, fly and clutch etc etc etc.... The list goes on! Loads of decent UK and import cars for sale at the mo (inc Phils great example) and there will be in the next few months. £25k is deffo do-able but you need to make sure you have a decent car to start with..

No need really, best to get rid of it. You should have the IP address for the router which is all you need to access the Router GUI should be something like 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1. All the rest of the software just uses the windows setting from within the control panel... PS If you cant reply to this it seems like you may have needed the d-link software!!
