The plastic bottle that is normaly there (that your chrome bottle has replaced) has a outlet... I thought there was supposed to be markings for High and Low on the tank. Am guessing (and its only a guess) is that you are running very hot if its venting... What are your guages saying?

Cause its where the hot coolent overspills to from the rad... If it was sealed the bottle would prob explode think... You got too much coolent in there or you running hot? Strange for it to spurt over the top...

Hi All, Planning my next mod!! Has anyone got the following... Battery and Brake Fluid covers and the bigger plastic parts that surround them... (This is just a loan, you can have mine back when I am done!) The 2 bottles from the front left of the engine bay... Dont know if you have upgraded to the chrome bottles and have your old ones lying about, again, just need a loan for a couple of weeks and you can have mine back.... Also if any of the guys on here that work for a dealers and can get OEM parts, I need the above and the black tube that you pour the window washer fluid into... If you could PM me a cost... If you use something like autoglym SRP once in a while it has fillers in it as well as gentle abrasion so that may work?

Volk GT-S wheels That arnt gonna look like that soon, need to get them ready for winter I did think about doing the pillers and boot in black... But I didnt get it done!! I like the way it makes it looks like its got a panoramic roof... Car needs to go in for body kit fitting soon so you never know... !!

+1 Alcantara is interesting though. I'd be interested in something like this. Especially in the cabin. Just feel that the interior of the Zed needs a little sprucing up thats why I have gone for the carbon / alcantara "theme". Just waiting for the upholsterer to get back from holiday and a few other bits will be done to tie it all up.... Carbon does look alot better in the flesh though... But as alway each to there own and not to everyones taste

(Autoglym info here : http://www.autoglym.com/enGB/product-pr ... GG&Range=1) Last week I polished with Autoglym SRP and then and then on with the HD, just got to build up the layers now! I havnt tried many other waxs just really just megs and one or 2 others, am sure to try a few others though am sure!!

I think he can, I had a good look around the web and could only find the ones with the cutout, so decided the best way forward was to get a wrap...

Cheers Mate, I was trying to draw some red into the boot so guess its worked!! Anyway, roof was painted the other week when I debadged and got my dent sorted. Only got these at the moment, hope to do a few more tomorrow

They were but it had the Z cut out I think As there is no z on the a$$ anymore I thought I should have one somewhere on the back...

Cheers guys :-) Yeh the strut is covered in alcantara. Gave it a go a few weeks ago, managed a to do the boot space but then I got to the curvy bits and they are tres difficult.... Will leave it too a professional (v soon )

Bought some from a car show the other week, goes on easy using the included applicators that need to be damp, and comes off nice and easy leaving a lovely shine. Had 2 coats so far and more to come! Kit includes pot of wax, 2 applicators and 1 microfibre polishing cloth.

Well after a few weeks of waiting my final piece of the interior carbon jigsaw arrived from the states. Tonster1011 the god of carbon on the US website made this little beauty (He can be contacted to make up virtually anything in carbon for the Zed..... Apart from Sunglass Holders and Exterior door handles!!) Its a carbon wrap of the original and looks great (IMHO!) and has a little extra twist... After all the pics I have looked at on the web, I have never seen it before... Anyway, a few pics for you. Before Carbon Cover Fitted (Took 2 mins!) Against original Done! From Outside

Must admit, I bought mine from wilsons and didnt see or test drive... actually didnt even test any before I bought!! Never been in one!! I just knew I had mine on credit (and a warantee!) so could have used the 14 day cooling off before I took it away!

Just seen you put more down... Bulb, replace it! Its a 2nd hand car! Bonnet is easy to adjust, again take it back to wilsons Aircon, should be covered under the 3 month wtee....

All can be sorted.... What are the noises from the speedo and airbag area? Clicky back axle is a know issue and there is a fix, just have a search Trans and Clutch, how noisey? What noises? You may be close to needing replacements Is the sat nav OEM dvd? Dvd's are available Bluetooth, you got the setting instructions? Rear view, cant do nothing about that.... Get a camera or reverse sensors! I take it you got a free 3 month wtee from wilsons? Take it back and get them to sort! Mark

I think one thing for show cars these days are unusual mods, we can all get bits of kit from the traders but its how we use them... Most cars I have seen recently include things like full alcantera retrims, total LCD / Computer based dashs, complex sound systems, multi monitors and stuff that is original and not found just anywhere, paint jobs and lots of engine bay bling. Cars have to have a "theme" and lots of colour coordination it seems... Mods like Pauls lights are things that start to make a show car (obviously he has all the other bits of kit to make that show car!!)

Yeh my lid dosnt fit too well, had to do a bodge and run some thick insulation tape, no bother though, sounds great! Kit includes, the chrome pipe, air filter box/heat shield with carbon lid, ever lasting air filter ad then a pipe and scoop that goes down to the grill area of the car thus forcing lots of lovely cold air into the engine! Nice bit of Kit but the carbon lids are hit and miss!!

Any pics of the 5Zigen? Single or Dual? Could be interested and I have a stock zorst..

Hows the fit on your typhoon lid?

If you go into a Mountain Bike shop or look online, Muc-off do a set that includes brushes, wheel cleaner (yes it is safe on alloys and chrome) all boxed up in a wash tub perfect for cleaning wheels!! Brushes are great for getting in to the small spaces and removing brake dust.... Just found it http://www.muc-off.com/webpage/bike_car ... t_kit.html and realised they do one for cars now!! http://www.muc-off.com/auto/products/ultimate_kit.html They look like they got some nice products, anyone try the silica wheel protect or the silicon shine? Used to use them all the time for MTB and they all do what they say on the tin!

How did the spykers get on?

Yep tried the 2.5 and 3 too and handeling was crap, both had "loose" steering.... Look great and have pretty good engine, good weight distribution but would only go for the m series IMHO....

Am happy to go back to them with that
