  2. Vouch for Alex here as a good guy and nothing to fear from a transaction with him. I think a few other guys on this forum know him too and will vouch for him. Mark
  3. Also, speed sensitive steering was talked about as was the changeable LSD settings that may possibly be available on the UK car.... I think one major factor is that the newer car even with the bigger engine will be more fuel efficiant than the current one. It will be a good few years before I get one... Still got a revup to get through yet, so lots of time to check out the way it works and its issues!! I think Nissan have also looked at some of the bits that have been available aftermarket and added them to the car. I also think that there will be lots more additional parts available for the 370z direct from Nissan / Nismo... Possibility of things like brake cooling kits etc... (This is a guess and not stated by anyone from NMGB! This is just a guess from having a good look round the car...) One thing I will say, even though the car we saw was a preproduction model, it will need an aftermarket zorst...
  4. That was the idea chris, the words were " you dont want to be popping and bliping whilst driving round town..." I beg to differ!!!
  5. Yep, Shrekster had one on his Zed, sounded very nice and is still up for sale....
  6. Comparison shot for you! 1st is Satsumas and I dont think its lowered. 2nd is mine and sits on RSR Sports*i coilovers 3rd is Smokeys and I think its stock 3th is Jon350z and his sits on aftermarket springs.. sure he will be along in a bit to confirm!
  7. Spolier is probably like the current Zed, you can have it without if you want (a lot in the US dont have the spoiler) Nismo exhaust is an option going by the stuff posted by 3FIDDYZ a while back (the scans of docs) looks like they're just showing it off. To me they look like re-branded brembos Nope, not Brembos, but they are made by a japanese company that makes race car series brakes
  8. I will take some pics of mine as they dont look the same shape as my 350z nismo ones... Best to be sure they fit first as they are different for the 350z and the 350zGT..
  9. You need your arches rolled using RSR Sport*i coilovers too!! Unless you run hard at the back! Your wheel size and offsets will affect how the springs or coilovers rub. If the offset is too much you may rub against the arch... Its not as easy as just slamming it....
  10. Drivers Republic... Great read I thought the article was very informative and gave a great insight into both cars. I thought from the final piece of the article it sidded very well in Nissans favour.. After all, how namy of these cars are gonna see the ring?? And with another couple of K spent on tyres etc it will show the porka a thing or two... After all its only been out a few months... Porkas have been around for years in that guise....
  11. Pictures dont do the lines and shape justice mate.... It takes all the zeds great points and updates them... Also the way its now set up, more rigid, more powerful, more economical it really give Audi, Porsche and BMW something to think about... Bonnet lines, hood lines, side panels, rear are just all amazing and the interior is major improvement.. Also.. The electricary involed is far superior to the 350... All the dial act like the defi gauges on start up, they fly all the way to the right and then settle where they are supposed to... Key is a major improvement too!! More pics to follow....
  12. Identification plate (one of the last pics in the link) seems to confirm 19" and all other info I have seen seems to suggest that will be standard fit Autocar said different this week and that 19" will be an option. Judging by the conflicting info around the UK GTR specs, we may not know the truth until the first cars land! Probability of 18's on the UK as standard, (look like the GT4 wheels) and 19's are an option
  13. Wow..... Just wow.... Car in the flesh is just amazing...
  14. I think you should be able to add them when you go to the site so not a difficult one... But still a pain! I run windows defender and that seems to do the trick on the spyware. I think if you know most of the sites are pretty safe then you are probably "too" secure. If you like to click around the place and go surfing everywhere then you are spot on. I am not a pro at all of this and do find lots of AV software too intrusive and ruin your browsing pleasure, but better to be safe than sorry! Do you have IE or your browser set to dump temp files and cookies at close of the browser? Things like this can help to reduce risk. GoogleBar works well to stop tracking cookies. What issues were you finding with Norton? I have always found it very good (prefere it to the current Sopho I have on this laptop..). It takes alot of setting up and fiddling with esp the intrusive constant monitoring, but once its setup it works very well..
  15. Yeh, am running premium and most of the AERO stuff is now not running!! Also, hibernation is the way forward! CRMs.... Running Dynamics at the moment, that and running MS OCS, Office 2007 all linked together and then Cisco Communicator that links back to the Cisco handset, VPN's and Sophos etc etc etc soon sucks up the resources!!
  16. this site creates popups so can annoy firewalls esp if you have PM's... AVG is a well used free one. Is there a way on outpost that you can over ride the access to site and add them to an approved list?
  17. 1GB on vista??? What laptop you got? Got a dell with a dual pentium in it and had done all the things to speed it up including the setting for the dual processors and it ghandi could still run faster than it... Am running a CRM and a few other big apps at work and that does take away processor power. Have 4gb now (paid £36 for it) and it runs like a dream!
  18. Profiles are different cause they are staggered maybe? Will have a look at my Falkens when I get home and let you know what mine are....
  19. Easy... Buy DELL! I think there may be some refurbs or cheaper models in the spec you need. Also... 512 on XP is a bit low, but memory is cheap, go for at least 1gb and 2 if you can... At the price they are now, it would be better to buy new.... Edit: Moved from other thread...
  20. Easy... Buy DELL! I think there may be some refurbs or cheaper models in the spec you need. Also... 512 on XP is a bit low, but memory is cheap, go for at least 1gb and 2 if you can....
  21. Nice look mate and compliments the black very well. Do you feel you need the door handles doing in the same colour?
  22. Is it a blade and the reg CF54 D*C ? Priced at around £8995 in surrey?
  23. Got the NISMO ones on mine... Great bit of kit and a marked improvenment... Even improved the ride of my coilovers... You do find that if you hit a pothole or bump on one side you feel it on both so you tend to manouver round things. No noise or anything bad to report here!
