Lived in Prague for a couple of years about 13 years ago and was lucky enough to be one of the only ones with sky... Thunder storm one night with high winds blew the dish out, so went to the roof with 2 bits of string, tied them to it, dropped them down, went back to lounge and tried to position in, guess what, didnt work... Then tried going back and forth between the roof and my flat and moving the dish a bit at a time... Doh! So went next door to neighbour who was about 95 and didnt speak english and I didnt speak czech that well but managed to communicate that I wanted her to sit there and wait for the picture to come on, whilst I was on the roof... And we would communicate via phone with me being on a mobile... (The Mobile was a UK one by the way...) so first attempt, I go to roof, call my land line... Nothing... I get off roof, go down 6 flights of stairs (no lift) explain again that its me on the phone and she needs to answer it.. She thought it was for me... To roof again. Call, No answer... back down... She had gone back to her flat... To roof again. Call, No answer... Back down... Shes cleaning my kitchen! To roof again, call, ANSWER... move dish slightly, I say OK? She say OK. Great I thought, run down stairs, get to flat, she has changed the channel to analog and her afternoon soap!! Loads more to add here (Another 4 runs up and down stairs)... But! Eventually we managed to communicate and align it..... Moral of the story... get the help of someone who knows what they are doing...

Not a bad price, normally £40 to £50 a window IIRC
-
Or!!! You can get a used dish off ebay for about £20 fit it yourself, used skybox off ebay for £20 (may not be one with HDMI!) and then phone Sky and get a freesat card for £20... You will also need some shielded cable! If you need a hand fitting, give me a shout!

Loftbox £45 LNB £20... But an LNB wont distribute FM, Digital TV, Sky Sat, CCTV cameras etc etc
-
I think the line is now... "Sorry officer, I bought this 2nd hand and I thought it was the original one, sorry I dont know that much about cars..." would work ok with the nismos as they look stock! Also, "Sorry officer, I didnt realise that anything was wrong as I have had my car MOT'd and it passed so I thought all was ok" Or..... "? Sorry, am a bit deaf, can you speak up?.... Or.... "Well its not as loud as the ferrari that just went past me at 100mph with the driver holding a baby out of the window....."
-
Cool, was just about to buy one of those at the £150.00 Dont need dual LNB's if you have a loftbox installed Cracking peice of kit....

Info here http://www.dft.gov.uk/pgr/roads/environ ... noiset3835 http://www.vcacarfueldata.org.uk/information/noise.asp And from a discussion in parliament... Vehicles: Exhausts Lord Teverson asked Her Majesty's Government: Whether the modification or replacement of motor vehicle exhaust systems in order to produce a greater level of noise is in conformity with European Union type approval regulations; and what enforcement action they will take to discourage any contraventions of the regulations. [HL5603] 21 Oct 2008 : Column WA101 The Minister of State, Department for Transport (Lord Adonis): European-Union-type approval legislation in relation to vehicle noise is primarily concerned with ensuring that new vehicles meet specified noise limits and exhaust standards before they are permitted to enter into service. Mandatory EU-type approval requirements have been transposed into UK regulations. Control of vehicle noise in service is governed by domestic legislation. Under regulation 54 of the Road Vehicles (Construction and Use) Regulations 1986, as amended, alteration of the exhaust system of a vehicle so as to increase the noise made by the escape of exhaust gases is an offence. The regulation forbids both the alteration of the silencer itself so as to make the vehicle noisier and the alteration of the exhaust system (by, for instance, replacing the silencer with one of a different pattern) so as to make the vehicle noisier. At MoT, test vehicle testers are required to fail vehicle which are excessively noisy for their type. Enforcement on public roads is carried out by the police, who are able to take action if they suspect a vehicle contravenes construction and use noise, or other, requirements. They have further powers to address noise nuisance under the Police Reform Act 2002 and the Crime and Disorder Act 1998 under which anti-social behavior orders can be served on the vehicle owner, imposing a ban from certain roads or even vehicle confiscation.

Sorry to hear that buddy, especially as you have backed the Zed and this club so much. Not considering one of the bargains available at the moment? They are almost a cheap runaround!
-
Yep, call Opie Oils and they will get everything sorted for you and with a discount...

Yep, will do another route in the morning to make up for the changes!

Looks like this in the car (Envy Performance Zed) Wont stiffen the chasis by much, but Zeds dont really need it... If you do then braces are available from GTSpec (Zmanalex uses them) that will more than do the job... If you feel the chasis is a bit loose, a set of Nismo AntiRoll bars will sort that issue out! Wonder if DjTim has seen this yet!! -
Unless its on the Envy Zed!!! The blanking plate is available from Final Flag... I think its on here http://www.z-store.co.uk/

It does look better without the badge, less cluttered as Ian says... I am guessing about £100 to £150 if your going to do the sanding and prep work and just getting a spray shop to finish..
