  1. Your talking about almost the size of a hair mate thats why they have a tollerence. Your car needs a degree of camber as it changes height depending on how you give it some beans and also how you go into corners. Also, as your on 19's is going to be a tad different to 18" stock and you are slightly lowered so the stock rear toe and camber adjustment may be on its limit for bringing it back in. Same with the front as there is little adjustment on the A-Arms. The reading isnt going to really help you, you just need to make a decision on which way you want to go and just get the parts installed for a better ride!!
  2. If its stock, just measure on a flat surface from the ground to the wheel arch on both sides and then post the number up and someone else with a stock car may be able to confirm. Its not uncommon for them to leak over time or for the seals to go.
  3. I thought Bennet said he had 340 at the fly with his UTEC fitted? If its 283 on a revup then there has to be something wrong somewhere... Most revups all map at about the same number..
  4. yes all UK models and years have VDC, TCS and ABS. VDC is just a Posh version of TCS. Not sure about imports though!
  5. Get a CR-V one painted in Blade silver?!?! And get the base done at the same time so it dosnt look out of place!
  6. I contacted the seller and he'll do it in solid black without the logo so I've ordered it. I'll post some picks when I get it. I've ordered an alacantara boot for the gear stick and handbrake aswell off ebay - hopefully a pretty cheap upgrade of the low rent interior that is the only thing that makes me want to sell the Z Somehow if you think the Zed interior is "low rent" how is a cheap upgrade going to make it any better? I think you may find that by seeing the joins in the stick on stuff its gonna make it look worse (personally I dont think it looks too bad and not low rent, seen lots that are worse!) and not flow... Also if it dosnt fit right its not going to help. What colour shift boot did you go for? And are you going to fit the bits that fit ontop of the centre console? Fair point and it may not work out but I think it's worth a punt for £100 (and the seller offers a refund within 30 days minus 15%) as I've wanted to try and improve it for ages. I'm planning to see which bits work and what doesn't out of the kit, I expect using all of it will be overkill. The gear shift I've ordered is black alacantara. 'Low rent' is probably a bit harsh but I just wish there were affordable cars with nice interiors. I think there should be an option for sensibly priced cars like the Z to spec a luxury interior from the factory for say a grand or so. The GTR interior is far more like it so they can do it! Unfortunately most of the dev and build cash on the Zed went into the car and not the extras and they sold it to make money.. unlike the GT-R thats a lost leader!! Showed when they upgraded the car for 08 as they didnt have original design and build costs... and with the 370z.. Covering some of the interior parts in Alcantara can help make it look better, Also the work Andy just did on his console when he wrapped it in the carbon effect 3M stuff looks really good. Probaly the same cost but you just need to spend time wrapping it!
  7. How are adjustable camber arms gonna sort out the "sagging" suspension!! If it i sagging then try and get some more rear dampers off ebay (your springs should be ok). As Alex says its within tollerence so it may be just that they are original tyres and they do wear on the inside..

  9. Dosnt the Gilmour just fit on the end of a hose? ie Hoselock and it dosnt need a power washer?!?!
  10. Getting close to something like this... I got the TV, the microwave, the kettle, the sound system.. the padded floor, the tools and tool boxs.. the shelves.. 3 decent horse power machines, spare parts etc.. Not sure I need to do much more to get it too that standard..
  11. Its not a Zed This is what the front arb's with drop links look like!
  12. Got one of these on mine.. Nice its reversable to, you an either have it long so it hangs over the dials and acts as a sun shade or short so the back of the cluster is covered. Also 3m tape has been fine on mine, just make sure you clean the area your sticking too with alcohol whipes.. its normaly armorall or dash cleaners that prevent the parts from sticking. Also means you can remove when you sell the car!!
  13. If you put the bag in the bit between the strut and the seats the powercaddy fits in the big boot section... Dont bother with a power caddy... bag goes in the boot and then the real caddy sits in the pax seat!
  14. D1 wont change the throttle... It just changes the voltage from the drive by wire... Only thing that changes it is a remap or a change of ECU. Bhav, loads of reasons behind it. Probably to get the emissions down and environmental stuff more than anything. Its the reason the car is throttled in other ways too.
  15. google is your friend Looks tidy, reckon it would look lots better without them stickers on it though! That sva looks like it has random shapes glued to the side and the roof of the car Rear mounted rad and coolers Needs all the air it can get! Trick car.
  16. Whatever ARB's you get make sure the fronts are adjustable, they will have 3 holes in each side that you attach the droplinks too. Esp as your running springs and then maybe going to coils. Depending on fitting this will give you a soft, medium and hard setting which you can change quite quickly. Have known some people to change between seasons or between track and road.. Bout 8 months Ian.
  17. Ran for ages without them, but just advisable they do help with the whole setup... again something that Alex supplies so you may be able to get a deal!!
  18. They connect the ARB to the hub carrier (think thats what its called!!) This explains it!
  19. Thicker so much stiffer... Am running the nismos and the uprated drop links. Ran with the RSR Sportsi coilovers first and then fitted the Nismo ARB's, first run out from the garage I almost turned in to a bend about 5 meters before the actual bend as they were much more "responsive"! and then more improved when the drop links were fitted!
  20. The sides to the cubby dont match the direction of the bits around the tripple pod. And the direction of the "print" on the vents looks to be sloping. Fit on the bit with the hugly oversized Z looks too small and the bit for the button is off centre... Personally I wouldnt have bothered but its not my car!
