  1. Ta for linky's will investigate them later Actually found some spacer rings on UK Ebay for £3.00 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/MDF-Speaker-Adapt ... dZViewItem I know of a few people who have bought them because it would actually be more expensive to make them yourself lol Neil good find mate , you will need two sets better than messing about order early - Item location: GZ, China
  2. handy site - http://liljerk.morpheus.net/350Z/ with the front speakers you have 3 choices :- 1, buy some spacers made of mdf (only seen these for sale in the usa - ebay) 2, make your own spacers 3, using the existing speaker spacer which is part of the oem speaker, this does involve destroying the bose speaker (no great loss) another good guide - http://www.350z-tech.com/zwiki/Tutorial ... stallation

  4. does it do it at standstill if you rev ? does it increase in speed as the car does ? a jingly sound ? hmm sounds a bit like an exhaust bracket/clamp has broken and is sliding on the pipe (hollow jingly)
  5. so now we play the waiting game ..............
  6. Was a ford focus 1.6 lol fully modded but needed an upgrade and thought what better than a 350z lol hangonamo you said "I used to have a 1.4 focus " are you lieing about the size of it ?
  7. I know I know. I bid £18,111 for it. Was hoping to get an ultra bargain.......the hunt continues...... i think jay might be selling his soon since he posted those pics of his car and some of the big lads picked on him he has disappeared bargain
  8. +1 - mine has always been high and I like em like that as it makes for faster gear changes So long as its not slipping, I cant see it being a problem. Can someone explain to me in laymans terms what happens when a clutch slips? How can you tell? the engine revs like a bastard ,and you go nowhere (in layman terms )

Can someone explain to me in laymans terms what happens when a clutch slips? How can you tell? steep hill, revs rise but car doesnt increase in speed, handbrake on bring the clutch up and it should stall usually basic signs

  12. seems a decent spec laptop stuey, good enough cpu speed and 2 gig of ram, dual core pentium, 160 gig hd is good, the norm is still 120 gb what make is it ? where from ? how much ? if you dont mind (i would guess about £500 - £550 ? ) as stan says get an external hd or a decent memory stick would probably cover what you need it for i've got my laptop with an external hd and a terrabyte on this one, just fills up so quick ! mainly mp3's
  13. no worries Paul

  15. black the tyres it will look lower - juxta posed - really !
  16. look behind the seats
  17. tax mot ? service history ? and beached on the first speed bump
  18. aah yes but its not " the dangle its the angle " thats causes the prob
  19. theres is big space/ glovebox behind the passenger seat, i think both amps would fit in there, maybe throw a fan on the door to keep them happy
  20. Unless its about posting pics Welcome to the forum it was the student not the teachers
  21. i've got a tonneau , that reduces some road noise and gives a bit of privacy into the boot i know the vibe seems chavvy but it worked well the xtreme stuff is expensive but its half the weight for the same sound deadening performance the bose amp is in the boot under the carpet, its easy to do a stealth install on the zed
  22. +1 or steep driveways , you have to go at angle because of the long wheel base otherwise
  23. wierd that, i have (from my last car sitting in the spare room) a pioneer 9600 iirc , a genesis amp and a pair of focal comps and a vibe sub (it sounded ) i know it doesnt look it but there is loads of room to fit audio gear, once the plastics are off behind the seats there is masses of room dynamat xtreme in the boot and wheel arches is a good idea aswell
  24. top gear dog she's so cute
  25. odd that ? i've got 19's with 35 profile and never had a scrape
