  1. It may be standard practice with the companies you use but not with us! Definitely with more than and swinton, these are the only two companies i can remember

Regardless of how fair or unfair this is, it is now standard practice, it was recently covered in auto express, if you claim then your premium will increase even if it was not your fault they say if you are involved in an accident then the figures show you are more likely to be involved in another !! its a rip off but they make the rules, i had the same thing recently when an audi tt drove into the back of me !! luckily i wasnt in the zed

  4. i've drove a few of these and i love them, i was even on vx220.org for a while, i was that close to buying a tubby but i realised they are just too hardcore for everyday use for me

  9. Mine wouldn't see the h/u so i got the phone to search for devices and then turned the ignition on, it worked and has worked fine since the volume on the phone and the head unit both work, just incase its seems a little quiet at first

  14. best advice is to trawl through some threads on detailingworld, you will soon get the hang of it and get a plethora of opinions because everyone thinks their opinion is right

  19. Not true mate, they do work but on a shorter wave band and the frequencies have different increments to ours, you just cant receive some stations, majority are ok i thought it would be the amp
  20. it never fails to work when you have just polished your car and go out at night......doh! not again
  21. a good knock on the door panel can often cure this for a while, its usually crud building up in the motor causing poor contact
  22. i would always check the level after a service, there have been some unhappy discoveries
  23. My son is a marine and has recently got back from afghan, i dread to think what the parents of these soldiers are going through
