  1. Dont start me on waiting times, the average for me is an hour. They should have a motto on the door. If you are ill come and sit in our waiting room for an hour and see what you can catch.
  2. Thats my point I guess Ian, they are too busy messing around doing unnecessary tests to concentrate on those who are actually sick.
  3. £35 per test I believe. So much for government cuts.

    WANTED - 350z

Plenty of members in Leicester who can give you a second opinion.
  5. I am seriously considering a change of GP. This is also the one who made a balls up and told me I had cancer a while back. She was wrong thankfully. Its a practice in a town full of elderly people so lots of testing is done. The GP wont even accept the results from my medical done by a GP she knows. I have told her I will be submitting my prescription so its ups to her.
  6. This infuriates me. I take tablets for blood pressure. All fine and they work well so no problem there. My last prescription renewal had a note on it that I had to have a fasting blood test before my next prescription was issued. My leave pattern is a bit random at the moment so I call to make an appointment. The next available is 26th September when I am at work. They are short staffed and it has to be a doctor that does it as they dont have a nurse. Thats stupid enough in itself. The GP has admitted that they do it as a money earner which is why they are so busy. So the next available appointment is 10th October when I am holiday, the first one for ages. The next one would be 17th October as they only do it on NMonday and Wednesday mornings. She doesnt want to renew my prescription so it will be a month wthout the tablets. I have just had a full medical with another doctor which was fine. The same doctor allows a mate in Spain to have his tablets when he isnt even in the country. My blood pressure has just got up.

  10. I will see whats about, if you underwrite a trade in you will get a great deal.
  11. I would get one from a Porsche dealer. I hear regular horror stories about porkers that have been botched. They turn up at the dealers with major issues. At least from a main dealer you will get the 121 point check.
  12. Hi and welcome to the forum. What tyres do you have and how much tread.
  13. Stick a post up in the wanted section bud.
  14. I was not very keen on maths at school but ended up needing it for work. Spherical trigonometry using logs good fun.

  17. Hi and welcome to the forum, good choice.
  18. I was in a car as a passenger a couple of weeks ago. We were hit from behind abd thankfully the driver saw the other car charging up behind him and booted it onto the grass verge minimising the impact. Very light damage to the back of his 5 day old Audi. He called his insurance company and when he mentioned rear impact the lady said " oh right, so you will be claiming for personal injury then. This is why insurance is going up. Until the law changes its going to continue.
  19. You have certailnly made a great job of that interior mate. Well done.
  20. Hi and welcome to the forum, plenty of cheap parts on here.
  21. It was dry.
  22. They sometimes jam in one position, work the back bit by hand around the rear window. Let me know how that gets on. Mine stops in some very random positions. Once the back is down the catch should grab and lock it. Where are you btw way.
  23. Hi and welcome to the forum.
  24. Welcome to my world. This is my personal opinion. If you take it to a delaers you will be hit with a big bill. From my experience they will throw sensors and motors at it until it works. They did that to me and it still didnt work. My advice is as follow. Get someone to help you. Pick a day when it wont rain. Open the roof as normal. If it stops in one particular position gently help it along. When the mechanism is make sure its clean and then apply silicon grease. Make sure the engine is running as this may drain the battery. Then open and close the roof several times, I normally do it at least half a dozen including 3 or 4 when it is moving freely. Listen carefully to see when you get noises such as release of the rear catch when opening. Hopefully this will fix it. If not post up and we can try some other checks. This was a pretty rare problem until last winter when it popped up a few times.
