On my way to collect some RAY wheels from Paul Spotted travelling northbound on the M1 before the juction to the M6 around 14:00 tinted windows , Nismo kit... and tinted RR lights and some nice wheels ... SUPERB LOOKING I was in a puny black micra which tried to keep up with you... 1.4 vs. 3.5 ... no contest really...

I've driven the 07 model with Nismo exhaust and nismo shocks... 1. Not a fan of the nismo shocks, no travel for UK roads... to hard on the road, my 2004 std have better ride quality. 2. Nismo Exhaust something else... definetely need one... 3. The steering has become a lot lighter than my 04, i guess they have revised the power steering, easier on towns but not sure about high speed feel. 4. The gear change is much smoother than my 04 gear box. 5. The power is noticeable in mid-gears a lot more, it oulls much better in 3rd and 4th and 5th to be honest... The RE050n tyres are definetely an improvement to the RE050 for grip and reduced road noise, but for grip the michelins still beats them...

Hello all , just wanted to bounce some ideas from a wide scope of people (and this forum I think has one of the best and most diverse groups ) to see if what I am about to do is normal, ok, or perhaps a bit weird... I will soon be quitting my job, as a automotive engineer (development of durability of new models in Nissan) , with the idea of going to do something completely different. The first options I have considered are to do an MBA, or perhaps just move to a completely new industry sector and "try" something different. I am in a situation that I can actually leave work and not have to go back into work for a while so I can take my time (this is one of the reasons why I can afford to consider to go/pay for an MBA.) Just wanted to know if anyone here has made RADICAL career changes and what was their experience? -Did you find it hard to integrate to the new jobs? -Any regrets? -Any added plusses compared to staying in same work sector? If by cheap stuff you mean 95 RON I can assure you that the engine will run perfectly fine and it is designed to cope with 95RON all that will happen you will loose around 10bhp, but in every day running this is not really noticeable. If by cheap stuff you mean Tesco Stuff ( supermarkets fuel) I can't vouch for them after seeing the carry on with tesco and silicon on the fuel... but i have not had any issues in the time i have been using Tesco 99,,, and this is cheaper and better "RON-age" than BP ultimate (RON 97)

Thanks for the advice guys... I tried finding some place in Adenau and places locally but all seemed booked, and I have to keep the missus happy so that's why we settled on staying on Cologne. I definetely need english speaking ( In germany I am the type that if they don't understand when I speak english... I say it a bit LOUDER and S L O W E R ...

Surely the guaranteed 11.5 k is the worst case scenario... I mean a 3 year old UK spec car sells for 15-17k right? this means you could sell it yourself and get the extra 5 grand profit in your pocket after you pay the 11.5 back to Nissan... is this correct? pax lap ? what ? like hitch-hiking, but a lot quicker? My captain sensible head says that jumping onto someone elses car who you don't know, and you know he's going to cane it, on a car that you don't know in what state it is... does not seem like a safe idea... however I am going to try and get into one of those taxis, hopefully with a nice gentle woman driver After that I might be converted to Beemers...

OK I know it is probably not the best time for it, but on the 6th of August I'll be crossing over to mainland and heading for the ring' . Actually me and the missus will be staying in Cologne (100km north), and then drive down to Nurburgring on the 7th and 8th and 9th for the public open times (17:00 to 19:00)... to have a look around and see what the fuss is all about... Apart from the fact it is going to be Tourist-Hell... any other hints and tips for the Green-Hell? During the mornings and early afternoons we'll do a bit of sightseeing for the missus...and of course check out Cologne Also any suggestions for good places to visit in the Eifel Region (I have seen VAL's report and we defo' going to that castle...) On the way back we thought of coming via Bruges in Belgium... Is this worth it? or is there any better places to go between Cologne and Calais?

In the last few weeks the radio reception in my car has gone from being OK to completely Sh!t... and it was a step change rather than a gradual deterioration. The radiocannot tune to any station and the presets are all grainy. I am guessing there are 2-3 potential reasons: ->the stubby aerial (Though it was perfectly fine a couple of weeks ago..._ ->The aerial base has got some water in it, corroded the amplifer board in it and packed it up.... -> Some wire/connector problem To eliminate antenna issues I want to fit the original whippy antenna... but I lost my original one ... anyone got one they are willing to sell...?

A thing that most of the best music was first released on I though that was called a "large plate" (LP?) or someting like that... but i can't see it fitting into that slot... my grandad had a few and they where a lot bigger than that slot... probably twice as big as CDs but black... very ugly stuff...

I have noticed in increase in dust from the DS2500, but as BP says not significantly more than OEM. But Also I think because I cleaned the wheels fully when i replaced the pads, the dust does not seem to stick to the wheels and so long as you give the wheels a good jet wash weekly (1quid at tesco and you get rid of nasty bug in the front bumper also), the dust does not stick so much to the wheels... I don't consider it a major issue... stone chips and Effin' birds deciding to sh!t on my car an no one elses in my street...are more of a concern for me...

it's not pie in the sky... it is happening now... your car is partly proof of it... it is just that Europe are around 5 years behind Japan in this kind of technology... It is coming, slowly but coming...the problem with europe is that we are a very complex market...the germans think they know best, the english want their unique system, the spanish think it should be unique to them and the italians want their own viewpoints and requirements...and don't get me started with the French, we are all very idiosyncratic, and diversification will make it slower to introduce... Japan and US are easier to implement rapidly and cost effectively...
