  1. agree! from a looks point of view it looks better and from noise point of view also probably much better... and that heat shiled you got seems a lot more elaborate...maybe better at shielding from engine bay temp.
  2. After reading about the pochargers i was going to add a comment but it would have taken it off topic so im post it separately Anyway... I have been looking at these forums about popcharger thingies but I honestly cannot see the point of them...unless it is just for noise and ASW'ing even with those heat shields they are more of a "warm air intake" than anything else! I know you get a direct airflow from the front, but this is the same as before in the encased box filter. the cone then sucks air from the around and sides and I think it is more likely to suck air from the engine side... even with the heat shield so the air temperatures are going to be a bit higher... The big plastic box I think is more likely to prevent warm air into the system and the air come directly from the front, hits the filter and goes through... SO I think getting a high flow panel filter would be better in this case... and perhaps thermally insulate the box I imagine noise-wise it is better but performance wise it makes little or worse difference... Has anyone got actual data showing improvements in performance ? PLease convince me...or sell it to me... debate please ... if you show me good data (independant data) i might consider investing in one... but the science has to be proven... basically my stance is that I think the original set up is a good as these popchargers... thingies for performance... and that OEM with a high flow filter will be better than a pop charger for performance... (I am not so bothered about the noise...)
  3. correct! concepts are just technology and style showcases... i was referring to the Qashqai being developed and engineered in Europe hence the better feel of materials... US and JPN cannot design interior with a quality feel to save their lives... shiny plastic or beige interior... # As for the 350Z# I wish they kept that gold colour rather than the "ginger rust" the exhaust exits are very cool but i guess impractical the seats those alloys, even if the std ones look similar... and they should have developed the real car with 19" as std... but i am glad they changed : the rr strut the boot floor the front grille
  4. ive just been to bedford for 2 days............. i stayed in de parys road....!! with the zed ? in my patch... and I didn't spot you!!!! I live in the outskirts of bedford, but go past de parys road around 6-7ish...

  6. Correct ! the whole vehicle was developed in europe, by european engineers, who know what is required in europe. It is actually a very good car... if I may say so myself... as opposed to a models primarily designed for US and JPN market... with some tuning for Europe...
  7. well for a local "gathering" i live in bedford, and twice i have been to cambridge twice i have seen a Blade roadster and a GM coupe but no one seems to come to bedford....
  8. you seem to have a stability issue ... you need stabiliser to keep you upright... that's why you need 4 wheels... joking aside...very cool "knee down" piccies and excellent photography...
  9. you look like you are a bit of an animal...
  10. that rear strut bar and guide rails on the concept are a bit too weird... and it is refreshing to see Nissan keep to the concept nearly 100% on exterior, .. as opposed to the latest model launched... and the result or

lambo vs. 350z sort of ... you tube...already done... twisty track is where you might be able to tame the "Toro Loco" or a coast to coast on b roads using petrol receipts of b road petrol stations as proof of the route used...

  18. BOSE not flexible....Actually it has, but not as you know it... the slot in the front can take something called a "cassette adapter" ( I think i heard old people talking about cassettes.... )which then has a little cable coming out that can plug to PC's for example... (not the most refined of ways of doing it... and probably not the answer you where looking for... but where there is a will there is always a way...
  19. I return from the ring on the 9th....
  20. Just found a few nice pics of the 350Z concept, just though i post them. It is good to see what was carried over into production, what was deleted and what was modified to be a bit more reasonable... hope the link works... http://s177.photobucket.com/albums/w229 ... 4b3c56.pbw
  21. If it is only commercial use and no offroading , then you definetely need some 22" 's there are a couple of bedfordians on pickups blinged to the max, with 22 chromies... one white toyota and a black Navara(new one)... looking very mean... and attacting loads of attention... (good if they where marketing a company on the side... )
