  4. I've got the same as Chesterfield (though we don't live together I must add ) and I'm pleased with it. We have commited the cardinal sin of placing a LCD TV above it but a strategically placed, and wide enough, shelf buffets the heat so it doesn't bother the TV too much Got it from B&Q and it was a piece of pi$$ to fit....... So my Dad told me http://www.diy.com/diy/jsp/bq/nav/skins ... Id=9281962
  5. Have a Destination Wedding - they're MUCH better & MUCH cheaper A destination wedding also weeds out the guests you don't want!!!
  6. Great looking rims Tosker. Really suit the car. Filthy Zorst though
  7. I quite like the black mesh idea.... Also wondering whether there are such inserts for the rear bumper lights?

Limiter +1 Mrs 73 has been asked to work Sunday and has agreed. I'm coming down with a bad case of man flu (a small, insignificant cold / cough according to Mrs 73 ) and so I'm doubtful. Hence I'm removed us. Sorry guys. I'm drinking so many Lemsips that Beechams have scheduled a delivery for me this morning Have fun and stay out of trouble. :
  9. Yeah but Martin arranged that meet Chris, - you could get your own back on him!
  10. Nice looking ride and 401bhp :teeth:
  11. Having lived in the US I understand both sides of this argument. With the exchange rate being what it is, buying from the US is very attractive. I shall be going at the beginning of December to make a few parge purchases myself (nothing to do with cars though). Coupled with US sellers being happy to 'manipulate' customs forms to negate customs charges for the buyer, the proposition becomes even more attractive. However, buyers may not fully appreciate that this customs manipulation leaves them wide open for a massive should the goods be lost / damaged / etc - they would not get the 'real' value reimbursed.... A concern that many are either unconcerned or unaware of. Your issues with being raped for advice and the buyer going elsewhere is unfortunately gonna be a fact of life now the internet is so accessible. You have to appeal to a buyer's better nature and hope they're respectful of the service you give. You might want to make the pitfalls of buying from US better known to your (potential) customers (without making it sound like sour grapes or bad-mouthing our American 'cousins')..... Good luck though. Disclaimer: I didn't buy the wipers from you b'cos my mechanic had some cheapo wipers on his vehicle and they cost me nothing. And the replacements will cost me nothing. That can't be beat
  12. Yeah, that's a good point Martin.... Swapping LA for Nottingham - makes me feel like I'm back home! Apart from the lack of sun, sexy chicks and sand
  13. Yeah, but no, but yeah, but no like that's not evan for sure. Like Nottinghum is da best eva, no crime no nothing If you discount the guns the place is a little better.
  14. Has the itinerary been explained yet? Times, lunch, the route etc? Maybe the apathy is down to it being presumed the same as April's day out??? Also, April's was spectacularly well subscribed! Maybe too much to ask for a repeat?
  15. Has anyone booked accomodation yet?? The B&B we had on Hoole Rd last time was
  16. Louis, if your budget skills are as good (poor) as mine then £300 nor £600 is enough spare income. Unless when you say "Everything" you mean everything has been accounted for?? Nights out? Unplanned trips to the local store? Vacations? Weekends away? Decorating ( ), remodelling (I've just spent over £1200 on tiling our en-suite ) On paper your spendable income looks fine but you ought to live the reality for a few months. BTW, I'm not the greatest when it comes to waiting for things too... Hence the CC bills being what they are
  17. Yeah Liam, you wanted different things - Mrs Sarnie wanted a bigger house. You wanted the Lambo! Hope you're doing alright. So too Mrs xSarnie
  18. I too did a lot of research when buying mine and I went with a 42" Phillips LCD in a piano black colour. It was affordable, the right size and gives a great HD image. I got mine from a guy called Paul Wright (paul.s.wright@btinternet.com) 01283 516630. He was the best value online and delivered next day I've been very happy with mine. There are plenty of sites that'll give you info though: http://www.lcdtvbuyingguide.com/lcdtv-plasmavslcd.shtml GOOD LUCK
  19. It's the best colour (http://www.theglenonline.co.uk/) of course (but I'm not a fan of Alez on black)... HOWEVER.... Why hasn't it got Rays alloys? I thought an 05 GT spec would have Rays??? That's one thing to ask about / look for!
  20. Your Z Hopeful changes as your posts increase. Your Avatar - the image - is determined by you. HOWEVER, it can only be a small image otherwise you'll get an error message.... Try making your avatar image smaller until it works.
  21. Yeah! At last, something the UK versions have that the JDMs don't
  22. If I hadn't got mine I'd be tempted. Very. IMO White is the new Black... I predict a surge in white car ownership over the next couple of years.
  23. We buy a heck of a lot of fuel - from Tesco, Sainsbury's (they're the same fuel supplier) and other places. We spend around £6-7k a month so we're keen to reduce costs / improve economy! So, we're in the process of changing to another supplier who claims their fuel is upto 30% more efficient. And they'll guarantee a price each week so we won't pay forecourt prices. I'm a see-it-to-believe-it type guy so will wait to see but I was reasonably convinced by the argument that Tesco & Sainsbury's fuel is of a lesser grade. We'll now be filling up at: Morrisons Texaco BP Brobot Esso as these all take the same fuel...
  24. Rob - there are plenty of insurance threads on here. I'm with Privilege and pay around £40 month (I think).
