I'm sure he drilled it. It was a long time ago. I posted on here at the time. Will see if I can find it! It was a piece of cake to him! Can't tell it was ever there!
Thanks for all the advice guys. Got two nights booked in a mega cheap and cheerful 14 miles away. Just got to decide whether it's worth the all day drive to get there! Do I need to decide quick? Are tickets likely to sell out fast?
PMSL. I have to send this video to zedrush again as a memento! As for the loony smashing the car....... I couldn't harm a car I would rather have cut his heart out........ With a spoon! Haha.
Never been but always wanted to! The hardest bit when you live miles away is getting a hotel.
Sold out anywhere close. I've just booked a flea pit 15 miles away mega cheap for Friday night and Saturday night which is fully cancellable. I thought that was the thing that needed doing first!
What I'm asking is what is the best day to go? I've guessed at driving down Friday. Going on the Saturday and Sunday then driving back. If one day is enough I can change my hotel booking but which day is best?
I think madness is the key to his talent! He's very emotionless and fearless! He's my fave TT rider! Did you see series one of speed where he did over a tonne on a pushbike in the slip stream of a racing truck?
Guy who sold it was a top bloke. Handed over all the parts he had swapped out, a carbon front hugger he hadn't got round to fitting and even got a pillow off the bed to wedge between the bike and the van door! Think he was sad to see it go! í ½í¸ƒ
I love Guy Martin. He's a great! All his programmes have been amazing. Did you catch the spitfire build the other week? He's very quirky. I read he has aspergers which explains his personality somewhat. I had a bit of a crush until his mate said he doesn't shower or change undies for a week!
My first ever user name on a car forum many years ago. Now my name on most forums and comes from my name which is Nicola! It's also on my number plate!
The weekend arrived. Stunning weather and a 200 mile trip from East Yorks to London. Went like clockwork. Other half is now in love!
Loading up!
Back in the garage after a 400 mile round trip
Out for pics next day then back in the garage until spring apparently!
That made me laugh and also made me realise how stunning my car is for it's age! I wish I had air con in the seats for those hot back side days! Great intro! My cars done 78k all by me. Still on the original clutch. Just get a service look after it and enjoy it. I'm still smiling after 7 and a half years!
I agree with two bears! And let's not forget that a difference in income does not necessarily mean a difference in the amount of work put in. Me and my ex both worked full time and I earned less but I also did all of the housework and gardening because he was a lazy sod. He seemed to think he was the provider because he earned more but I worked more! It's an interesting debate which is more to do with relationships than money. I now earn more than my current boyfriend but he would give me his last penny if I needed it and that's what counts to me!
