white is definitely gaining popularity and it seems to have a kudos all of it's own on jap cars. Lots of younger guys I've spoken to have said why didn't you get white! If I'd have wanted white when I was looking at the jap auctions there was always plenty of high spec ones around as it's obviously very popular in japan but like you I just couldn't quite do it. And as said it is pearl not flat colour - I'd love to see one in the flesh. I was also warned by someone about that place at Keighley - think they trade under 2 different names as well so be careful! Get Jurgen to give you the password to the auctions and have a look.

I always wanted one of those when I was younger. I don't like the new ones, it has to be an oldie like that - its fab!

It's a tricky one isn't it - after all, he's old enough to take the consequences and sometimes that's what needs to happen. If he's driving his bike with too much BHP how is he going to get caught? I presume the greatest risk is if there's an accident? Or do the Police spot check? All his mates seem to have parents that don't give a damn - they think I'm a real killjoy.

yeah i knew that, he's not riding it - it's stashed away! Just wondered what you were entitled to drive at age 19/20 when you've just passed your test. He gives me all sorts of bull about being able to ride a big bike if it's restricted etc - he's quite sneaky! It's my worse nightmare anyway him having a bike at all but "while he's under my roof" I will make sure he's legal!

My son has gone from a moped to an aprillia 125 and has now got a Yamaha R6. He has to retake his CBT which has run out now, he's just passed the theory and is due to take his full test in a couple of weeks. Can anyone tell me what the law is about size of bike you can ride etc as I'm never sure if he's trying to pull the wool over my eyes on this subject!

Does this seemingly common problem cause any damage or is just the annoyance factor of it making the noise?

I really like it - and that doesn't make it a girly car because I actually like my cars to look more agressive which is why I went for the coupe Z and not the soft top.

Moi! Actually I'm quite a bad passenger - I never dare say anything but I get told off all the time for gripping the seat or covering my eyes while the other half's driving. I prefer to be in control myself.
