Hi there, whereabouts are you from? I'm currently waiting for my import to arrive from Japan and so far can highly recommend Jurgen from JM-Imports who will tell you all you need to know about the process.

Of course my immediate next door neighbours beat you all hands down. I live on what used to be a farm which is now a complex of 4 barn conversions. Two of these are still owned by the guy that did them up originally and he owns a big granite factory. He used to rent these two houses out but now he's filled the one next to me with 9 latvian migrant workers/hoodies who have two old audi coupe's and an old porsche 944 - chaved up to the max which wake me up regularly being revved and boy raced up the shared drive. Not to mention the rave music in the garden while they stand around swigging cans of lager. Now THAT's class!

Been off work with the dodgy knee has mean I've actually visited less! Can't wait to get back to work so I can surf all day!

I have a really nice neighbour who's father is a self made mega loaded businessman - and I mean loaded! And good luck to him too. His is seriously into cars. I heard this come up our drive and thought what the hell is that?!! Looked out window and it was this I resisted the temptation to go out and look as I didn't want to look like a prat. That was just ONE of his collection. His daily drive is an M5, and he also has another Ferrari (don't know the difference myself) and an Aston. He came up a few weeks later in the AM while I was washing my car. I couldn't resist so I went over and asked if he minded if I had a look. I thought he'd be real down to earth and enjoy showing me it but no. He said something like "I was going to bring my other car but it needs washing" Just waiting for me to ask what his other car was (but I already knew). Then he left me stood there and I looked a right pillock! Never again!

Astonishing! Looked like it needed scrapping in the first picture! And what a good way to practice with the PC - I mean you couldn't have made it any worse could you! Great job!

I don't think there's anything wrong in wanting to hide the age of your car. I would do it for that reason alone. We've got a system that rips us off by displaying the age of our cars for all to see so that the industry can make more money out of people etc. I think it's good that people don't know how old your car is unless it's by it's shape - call me snobby - yes I probably am. But a 250 quid plate is cheaper than changing your car every 5 minutes if you're paranoid about it's age. Incidentally, does anyone know how to go about selling their plate?

Tesco told me they need a tracker. I got reasonable ish quote from the RAC surprisingly!

I hate to say it but that car looks like a mid life crisis - I hate it! (don't shoot me it's just my personal opinion). On the other hand if you've been offered more than you've shelled out on the Z i'd take it and start again............with a Z!

It is already decided. Its going to be a white import, non GT but with Brembo as i will be doing everything properly on it. WIll be getting the Nismo V2 kit with carbon blade and carbon canards, vents on the bonnet, Nismo exhaust and some Volks aha, now we have the truth! Only joking - you are doing the right thing - you might even save money by getting another one later.

Well done again Jimbo! Hope all goes well this time. Ignore the comments about female drivers - although some of us enjoy driving fast cars we are less likely to ABUSE them as we treat them like pets as only girls can!

i've had a second arthroscopy (last one was 7 yrs ago on the same knee), camera in the knee, cartilidge trimmed and a lateral release of my knee cap which means they've snipped away at the area at the side of my knee cap to release it a bit. I'm in a bit of a state really, still can't walk without crutches or my knee just gives way but I was only supposed to use them for 2 or 3 days. Physio on Thursday so hopefully they will tell me what to do!

trust me you wouldn't want to see it or kiss it better! When i took the bandage off it had so much dried blood on it it was rock hard, I can't bath or shower for 10 days, my leg looks like it's got gout and I generally feel and look like a dog!

Mm, makes you wonder. Surely whatever your driving you don't just spin for no reason on a dry surface. Wonder if he's a member on here..........

Just when I thought I was going to go bonkers, my other half has bought his work laptop in which has a 3g connection (god knows how this works) so I'm now leg up on the sofa, top gear on the tv and connected to the world again! Knee looks like a zepellin but never mind!
