i've had a second arthroscopy (last one was 7 yrs ago on the same knee), camera in the knee, cartilidge trimmed and a lateral release of my knee cap which means they've snipped away at the area at the side of my knee cap to release it a bit. I'm in a bit of a state really, still can't walk without crutches or my knee just gives way but I was only supposed to use them for 2 or 3 days. Physio on Thursday so hopefully they will tell me what to do!

trust me you wouldn't want to see it or kiss it better! When i took the bandage off it had so much dried blood on it it was rock hard, I can't bath or shower for 10 days, my leg looks like it's got gout and I generally feel and look like a dog!

Mm, makes you wonder. Surely whatever your driving you don't just spin for no reason on a dry surface. Wonder if he's a member on here..........

Just when I thought I was going to go bonkers, my other half has bought his work laptop in which has a 3g connection (god knows how this works) so I'm now leg up on the sofa, top gear on the tv and connected to the world again! Knee looks like a zepellin but never mind!

My husband was given some friendly advice this week from a chap at work who as it turns out is a 350z owner. He said I hear your wife is buying one? Is she a good driver? He apparently spun his 360 degrees coming off a slip road in dry conditions and thought he'd offer a friendly warning. Cheers!!

back tracking slightly here - just went onto dvla tax your car online site to help my son tax his car - there's a bit on there now where you enter a car reg number (anybodies not just yours) and it tells you how much the tax costs, when it's due, and when it last changed hands. Quite interesting.

had a knee operation yesterday and am now on crutches and have 4 weeks off work. I'm bored stiff already! I can't even spend too long on here because I don't have a laptop and I can't really bend my leg enough yet to sit on the chair at the desk! Help!

when I sold my first golf gti I bawled my eyes out - it was my first fast car and I was gutted! Was quite sad when the pug cc went too and will be very sad when the CTR goes - especially as I won't have the zed to replace it for a while. I get really attached to my cars almost like they're pets - now that IS sad!

it's funny cos when i first 'bought' mine I couldn't even sleep - now with all the waiting i've gone totally calm again. Another few weeks and I'll be hyper again. The worse thing is that every sunny day feels like such a waste!

totally agree with you - people end up spending thousands on cars that are really old - they do get lots of respect though! A tad too boy racerish for an oldie like myself.
