  1. I might have been using it badly but tried it for the first time at the weekend on the civic and I just didn't rate it. Plus a nightmare to get off.
  2. You big girls blouse you!
  3. I tired scratch x at the weekend for the first time and hated it! I've done a similar thing before where I've scraped something off with my nail and scratched the car. If you know anyone with a PC it will buff straight off even if no amount of hand polishing fixes it. I had a really bad scratch on my bumper machine buffed for £15 by a local mobile valet guy. There's no way it would have come out by hand but as the PC takes off a thin layer of paint it works very well. The moral of the story though is to have a bottle of quick detailer and a cloth in the car for things like bird poo etc!
  4. Yep it's an S. But you could have the seats done in leather yourself.
  5. Glad it's sorted. I dread to think what you lot would be like if you got PMT!
  6. Can I just say that from my point of view having been a member on lots of other car forums i've found this one to be one of the best. Informative but still friendly and fun. Much as I shouldn't say it I put that down to the lack of women on here. I've got really fed up with some other so called car sites that have ended up as nothing more than dating and flirting sites where tarts flaunt their wares or else it's full of immature blokes always having a go at each other because their opinion is the only 'right' one. I've noticed an increase in 'sparring' sessions lately though and hopefully it can be sorted out in a positive way. Oh, and I always think it's good to remember that things said in written form can sometimes sound a lot harsher than they really are.
  7. I've driven a focus with a heated screen, I thought it was fab the way the ice just slid off after seconds. If its heated air at the bottom of the screen then would they have been having hassle about the different type of glass?
  8. Can't we do something to scam these people back? It gets on your bloody nerves!
  9. so you've got it replaced but not with a heated one then? If I had a heated one I'd want it replacing with a heated one - heated front screens are ace in winter! But then again if you didn't realise you had it anyway you won't miss it. I wonder if anyone else with a JDM has got one without realising - what do you need to check to find out?
  10. You might have a point if you told him to put NOT YELLOW in his ad.....
  11. We'll have to agree to disagree on that one!
  12. What do you mean for once you cheeky monkey!
  13. Mate I've just looked at your ad. In my opinion your ad should say exactly what it is, not just not say its not a GT if you get me? EG I think your ad should say 'NON GT' as opposed to just not mentioning it and leaving it to buyers guesing, hoping or assumming. Might save you the time of people coming to view who don't want a non GT etc Just my 2p's worth, if its worth that I have to disagree there. I think it should state exactly what it is with a full description. I would say it had cloth upholstery etc but I would not say Non GT. That would be like advertising a house as not having a downstairs toilet. Never point out a negative - that way they may still come to see it and fall in love with it!
  14. Hi there. What you need is a nice sunset Z to keep the orangey theme going!

    KEYED!!!!!!

Morons like this think that if you've got a nice car you must have been born with a silver spoon in your mouth rather than worked your ass off to finance it. I believe what goes around comes around and all that. It's a pain that we have to insure our cars to drive them and then dare not claim on the insurance or the excess is too high - we lose all round really! It's a ball ache but I'm sure you'll get it sorted without too much fuss. Don't lose heart!

    shell petrol

I've used both in the type R and noticed absolutely no difference whatsoever in performance, even after consistently filling up with BP Ultimate several times in a row. I did get more miles out of it but not enough to make up for the extra cost.
  17. Well done! Nice to be able to feel more secure!
  18. doh! I looked straight at that without seeing it properly! although it looks more like a winter storage thing than an every day cover.
  19. yep, they had the usual stuff but nothing with a zip. That other link is interesting - the barn one - never seen one like that before! Looks a bit cumbersome though but a good idea.
  20. what a set of planks! We all know what he means even when he types bckawrds!
  21. That was such an amusing read - made me laugh! Driving mega slow in front of them winds them up so much it's fab! People that stick to your bumper in the outside lane of a dual carriageway and expect you to shift over when you've got a load of cars in front of you are the worse. Why would you move over when you're stuck behind the same cars as them?
  22. is there such a thing as a drive on and zip up one then?
  23. Wow! That garage looks busy! Loving the shot of your tummy!
  24. any brand/type I should be looking for?
