  1. hello and welcome. Good luck with the search - just be patient and get exactly what you want, don't settle for second best. I had mine imported for me with 5k miles on the clock and it was immaculate - I'm very happy with it.
  2. hello and welcome. As mentioned the search facility should sort you out but if you've got any specific questions just ask.
  3. Hi there. Blue is rapidly becoming a favourite colour for me!
  4. Hi there and welcome. My computer currently says 8.5 km per litre - I don't know what that is in miles per gallon and I don't want to know either!
  5. Yay - at last someone that agrees with me - I hate the stubby, it looks..........stubby!
  6. I voted for that wally!
  7. but that means I will lose 8 days worth!
  8. True, we're doing a house up soon though and neither of us has a car we can get lots of DIY stuff in the back of and even if I could I'm NOT putting tiles and bits of wood in my Z! Might get an old hatchback as a temporary thing and use it if it snows - no road gritting out here!
  9. actually now you come to mention it, I could do with one of those then I could tuck my car up on dirty wet days like today!
  10. yeah, you get used to it. The values are still correct so just ignore the KPH bit. The bit that annoys me is that it still reads km's per litre - but to be honest do I really want to know how many miles i'm getting to the gallon? No thanks!
  11. when/how do we pay and when do we get it? Can't wait!
  12. I'll deal with you later......... But one thing that does stick in my mind was that we used to play outside in the road and if a car came you just shouted "CAR" moved your cricket stumps, ball, bat whatever you were playing with, let the car past then just carried on playing in the street again! Oh, and running home at lunchtime from school to watch kids programs because kids TV wasn't on all the time like it is now. I used to like Pipkins and Jamie and the magic torch! Sweets, crisps and fizzy drink were not part of your mum's weekly shop either, we got them once a week with our pocket money from the village shop.
  13. I've found the boot space pefectly adequate for the big weekly shop but not so good if you want to put one big item in like a suitcase or a big parcel. The strut brace stratches very easily too! A holdall is definitely the best bet or two small cases.
  14. I break up tomorrow for TWO WEEKS!!!! Yay! Can't wait to get my car nice and clean and not have to drive it to bloody work every day in all this mucky weather! Have a great break everyone Nic xxx

  17. but at least then you could say, bloody hell officer, they've made my plate up wrong and I never even noticed!
  18. yeah I do, one of the most illegal - i don't care, up yours - plates I've ever seen! I don't understand why he didn't just have it made with a 0 instead of an 8!
  19. I thought he meant someone in a matching punto!
  20. Not to mention the dodgy surroundings of her demise and a wealthy person possibly getting away with it while his servant takes the rap!
