its something to do with the profile space they set for us - some backgrounds are fine and others create an annoying little warning triangle in the system tray that won't let me shut the machine down!

Great job as usual Martin - my only disappointment was that all the colours weren't represented but two of my colourful choices (azure and hulk green) made it in. You only have to look at August on this years calendar to see what I mean!

Well I had the best ever solution at the weekend. Went and attacked the garage - threw all the crap from one side to the other and now I can fit the zed in one side! Loads of room once you get in but actually reversing up the 3inch high concrete slab and putting revs on to get the front wheels up as you shoot backwards through the single size hole into the double garage is a little scary to say the least! (and yes Beavis, there is a dangerous tumble drier in there too!) The feeling of putting my clean and shiny car in there on sunday was worth it though. Having said that its now in the work car park covered in muck from yesterday!

I found an amazing picture on google images the other day of a 240z and a 350z parked next to each other. I saved it as my desk top wallpaper but for some reason it's drastically reduced my profile space and is causing me problems (on work computer). SO I want to delete it - easy, but I don't want to lose the picture and I didn't save it anywhere and I can't find it again on google. When you go into the control panel/display it just says my wallpaper is internet explorer so the question is - where is the actual picture and is there a way I can make sure I don't lose it?

Never read Peter James - always on the look out for new authors so will check him out. I also like Michael Connolly and Greg Isles. Clarkson might be a good one and I know he has some Bill Bryon but not sure which ones.

What's it about - dare I ask?

My Dad is ill and as my folks live in France and I can't see them that often I thought I'd send him a book to cheer him up. He's an avid reader like me and we read the same books (Lee Child, Harlen Coben, Karin Slaughter etc.) However, under the circumstances I wanted to send him something that would cheer him up in a humour type way. I know he likes autobiographies. Anyone read anything that really made them laugh lately that would be suitable for him?

I can't believe you let your car get that filthy! I have been known to wash mine in the dark - but then again I can do it round the back without the neighbours laughing at me - not like at your house. On the plus side - the muck is probably so thick by now that you have got protection from stone chips etc.

Top Gear is the highlight of the week - factual, entertainment, scripted whatever, I don't care it is just such a laugh! I loved that Corvette! I want to go to Reno and set some car alarms off!

do not mock! I am not a take that fan but got taken along last year and it was one of the best concerts i've ever been to! As a 'show' it was brilliant - lots of great effects, pyrotechnics and lighting.
