agreed - I was impressed with the one I had (53 reg). If I wanted a hatch I would get another without hesitating. Would you stick with the same shape or go for the newer model? Prefer the older one to the new shape. Just don't like the new shaped civic in general.

I actually pulled mine off with pliers and have my square plate stuck with tape onto the back.

Lucky sod! Go to the Carambola restaurant in St James if you can get in - it's set into the side of a cliff with spectacular views over the ocean all lit up at night time.

yeah, i like things pretty perfect when it comes to cars so it will niggle me until i get it sorted but more important things to do at the minute.

well you lot were right. the scuff has come out with some AG paint renovator followed by SRP. I'm just left with the 2 inch dent now. It's really noticeable so I'll get it sorted some time after xmas and maybe try to get the crater sized stone chip done at the same time!

Yes i will clean it later and re-assess the damage. The scuff may polish out. don't think the paint has broken in the crease. You've made me feel a bit better thanks.

I could cry! Manoevering my car around the corner of the house last night in the dark (see pics) and got myself a bit close to the wall going round the corner. Checking my mirror constantly although in the dark! Heard an awful scraping noise and realised - yes it looked as if I'd cleared it but I'd forgotten how wide the wheel arches are and caught it on the corner! I'm gutted. There's a small crease and a scuff (the bright mark in the pic is just the light). Can't believe I did it! It now matches the biggest stone chip on earth that you can also see in the same pic! - any ideas how much it will cost to sort out, bearing in mind I have NO MONEY!

I don't finish until xmas eve but it's so quiet there's no point using holiday time. I'm then not back in until 5th Jan and that's without having to use any holiday time - we just get given the 4 extra days. Back for a few days then 2 weeks in France to visit the folks.

Now that's more like it and even then there's SO MUCH MORE it should have on it! We may be outnumbered on here but we are definitely right (as ever)!
