I think you will find that they play songs! Tracks are for racing on, trains to go on, scalextric or are left by creatures in the snow. Don't be mean - leave him alone to play his records in his slippers........

That's not Martin is it? Another one I can think of - we all have our own cups - I HATE it when someone uses mine and then I can't find it. And then you find out some revolting bloke has used it for his cuppa soup and not washed it! YUK!

I am sat in my office and the person at the next desk who has had a cold is snorting phlegm up in the most revolting way you can imagine! I am so close to smashing him in the face with a box of tissues I am having to count to ten!

don't they base some of the cost on the miles you do? If you say you'll do less miles it's cheaper but if you go over they hammer you? I don't suppose she'll do that many will she? You might get a really good deal. I have a friend that works for BMW selling on the corporate side and I'm round there tonight so I'll ask her what she knows about it.

well i'd wait for further advice because I am probably quite a 'gentle' driver compared to you and some of the others on here. You sure it wasn't a slippy/icy road surface or anything? The back of my car has been like a bendy bus some mornings out on the country roads where I live!

I've had my 2003 import for over a year and a half and the traction control has only kicked in about 4 times in total. Only then when I have been driving on ice and have slipped as I set off. Doesn't sound quite right to me.

no I know what you mean, it's just a computer with wheels but plugging it in and getting a message isn't always correct is it? Like maybe in this case? God knows, you can't even see what's under the bonnet these days!

does anyone else think that mechanics rely too much on what a diagnostic machine says nowadays as well? Not that I know anything about it at all but it seems to me they rely far to much on what a machine tells them.

in my experience some dealers with certainly try the 'quick fix' and if it doesn't work, hey ho, and onto the next thing while you pay for the experimenting. I had this experience before with peugeot which I knew was not going to be resolved by what they were suggesting because of what I had learned from a forum just like this. Be very careful.

never had that one. I get the opposite effect where you can't set off because the brakes seem stuck on!
