i noticed the wheel arches were full of ice welded to the tyres before i even got in it - course i got the ice out first! I can tell you now HE would have driven off with it like that! He thinks he's flaming Lewis Hamilton!

Poor thing, Nemo is tucked up all nice and clean in his bed - having said that, I am grounded with no car cos he is STUCK! How the hell did the Astra get stuck but not the zed? Can you not get it yet?

NO SHE ISN'T! He is a little sod! He phoned me to see if his car was ok (not me) and i told him how i had to melt the ice out of the wheel arches as it was frozen to the tyres. Without even letting me finish my sentence he was saying "oh so you burned my clutch out....." He needs a slap!

The funniest thing is you should have heard the LECTURE i got before i was allowed to take his car!

tbh, i'm never off, never have time off sick and always make an effort to get to work. Its only since i moved out into the sticks that this has affected me, combined with RWD obviously.

Made it to work today but NOT in the zed. He is well and truly snowed in, in the garage - the only good thing about that is that he is looking clean and shiny! My son had the day off work today and so i borrowed his Type R - was a pretty scary journey in and even the main roads were not clear - i can only assume due to a lack of traffic on them as it was eerily quiet! Type R was great though, never put a foot wrong. Reckon i'll be working from home again Monday - bought a big pile of stuff home with me today!

I think anyone who saw that car in the flesh would no way want to change it back!

Actually you guys know me......I was outside in the rain in my scruff last year - not sipping wine indoors with the +1's........... I love cleaning my car really! Won't be complaining if the calendar boys want to help out though!

insurance companies are a nightmare! I was with tesco on my previous car, not only did they NOT have a Zed on their list of cars they wanted to charge me 2k! Yeah ok........... As long as you have the uk spec and all is how it seems that's fine but make sure your insurer change it to what it should be so you are not paying any extra.

I just saw this on a friend's FB profile - so funny. My horrible cow neighbour next door would love it if we built that against our fence!

Day three of stuck at home. Work are going to email me some stuff to do but its not ideal - i really need to be in the office for a lot of my job. They have been very good though. Even the A roads around here now are sheet ice, seems they may have run out of salt........ so even IF i could get the zed out of the drive, then five miles of thick snow in the village I still wouldn't fancy skating along the main roads. I'm so sick of it now. Its a constant worry...........

is that all? I rest my case..........

nightmare.........times like this i hate living in a village so far from a main road. I'm not at work but i worry about it all the time because other people with sensible cars who live near the main road have managed to get in. Just wish it would go away ............
