  1. Are you referring to the car or to Tim, Nic?
  2. With more power and also being lighter, it's no contest really.
  3. Single seater preparing to go out. I didn't know you could take them out on a general open session. I'd love to take mine round, but would be struggling to manage a single lap with only a 5 litre fuel tank.
  4. No - coz if I had a spare 60k I'd buy it myself
  5. Could it be the rev counter itself? Maybe try disconecting it and see if the noise goes away.
  6. Please email proof of lottery win to I'dBlowAmonkeyToGetRich@ManBitchWhore.com Welcome back Flirt
  7. I can understand your reasoning, Martin, but as has already been said, a Boxster is still a Porsche at the end of the day and they are not noted for their economical running costs. My Zed is my daily drive and whilst I hate the stone chips and the miles I'm putting on it, I bought it because I love driving it and that's the price I'm prepared to pay.
  8. Pleased for you that it wasn't worst. I would definately have a 4 wheel alignment check done when you get the new tyres fitted as it's very easy to knock the track out and not be aware of it until your front tyres start to wear unevenly.
  9. A good opportunity to change it for something better then. Envy or ESR will be able to help and possibly cheaper than a standard replacement system.
  10. You may be missing the gossip, Liam, but you're certainly not missing anything with the weather as it's pi$$ing down again.
  11. Was hoping to go for the first upgrade (was it to 297bhp?). Test drove the first iteration and that was still fun. Not sure how long the latest version has been available but think it would probably exceed my budget . Yep they raised it to 296 bhp in 2006 and made a few other changes to the trim and lights. This model has had some problems with oil consumption and whilst it doesn't seem to effect all of them, you should keep an eye on the dipstick for the first 1k miles.
  12. Really sorry about your Zed, but at least I assume you're ok. I've never owned an Evo, but the performance is certainly stunning. The frequency of services and insurance costs are high though.
  13. Good write-up, but the price compared to what we in Britain are going to have to pay is sickening
