  1. TBH I wouldn't have accepted the car back with them on.
  2. I believe it's less then that now, sure I heard that a custard has been writted off before.
  3. I know that feeling, I was due to get mine today, needless to say I have at least another week to go now
  4. Glad you like her, what do you think of the colour in the flesh? I know it doesn't compare to what we see on screen (I have seen so many different shades of this colour now).
  5. Yeah, I wanted a nice inconspicuous colour, after all the last one was just as inconspicuous
  6. Yes, although I can't really comment too much as I haven't seen a car in that colour in the flesh.

    2007 / 2008 quote

I just had to get the insurance done on the new Zed, unfortunately Adrian Flux couldn't quote me at all apart from the renewal from RSA. Due to writing off 35k worth of car RSA wanted to charge me an additional £500 over last years quote, that brought it up to nearly 1.2k Oh and they also wouldn't protect my NCD Anyway, I went thru to Sky Insurance who could quote me. I ended up paying £925 with protected no claims. 37, 11 years NCD, No points but I do have two fault claims, first was Jan 2003, theft from a motor vehicle (2k) and Feb 2007, writing off the last Z (35k). Grand scheme of things I suppose I am happy, the insurance does cover the car being modified so the body kit, stillen exhaust and Nismo wheels are all covered
  8. Slight change of plans (what a surprise there). I know don't know when I will be taking delivery of the car due to the fact that it's still at the Nissan bodyshop in Sunderland, apparently it's still not finished I never knew it took over 7 weeks to spray and fit the Nismo body kit to a car but apparently it does. Dealer can't give me a date to take ownership of the car so it could be days\weeks. BTW, what part of Essex?
  9. TBH 150 isn't too much to worry about, especially in the Z. I have had 150 out of it on a 2 mile oval, now that took a bit of strength to hold it, however at 100mph on the oval you can actually lift off the wheel and it will continue to hold the line, accelerate and it will move up, decelerate and it will move down. Come back when you have done 190 on two wheels and tell us what you think of that, I can tell you that at that speed it generally gives you tunnel vision, it also makes you bloody aware of cars\trucks in the distance. One final warning, assuming that you're going thru the Ardennes part of Belgium and thru Luxembourg to get to the 'Ring, what ever you do, don't speed thru Belgium, well not unless you have a lot of money either on you or in the bank. If you're caught speeding in Belgium they give roadside fines, if you can't pay the fine they will impound your car, oh and it's dependent on speed as well. 100mph could easily cost you over £150 in fines (I think that 120 was going to cost me something like 400€ but that was a while ago).
  10. As soon as I have them, so will you. The car is due into the dealer today, I am 'due' to pick it up on Saturday, however if it's later than tomorrow then I may have to kiss it good bye until next week. When it comes into the dealer they will take some pics for me and send them thru.
  11. although I am not sure with the alezan leather
  12. How come it takes them 6 weeks or so to add a few Nismo bits??? They took the same amount of time last year if you remember.
  13. Mine was a pre-order, it was ordered with in 40 minutes of 07 orders being available on Nordis (I actually had the call telling me it was ordered and the estimated time to delivery within 45 mins). Mine took a little longer to deliver because of the Nismo kit being fitted to it, if I hadn't got that it would have been here about 5 weeks ago.
  14. Think it is SimonD with a Temper Orange one. Think it's still at the dealers. Mine is still up in Sunderland getting the Nismo kit fitted, I believe it's Polarbear?? that has his Solar Orange already. I know that Seb on the other site has his already as well.
  15. 10 days to go Liam, of course not as orange or fast as your one but I will still love it :D
  16. From what I hear the CAT guys are pretty good, apparently they did some of the dynamics testing of the Zed and if you are a member of "another forum" :cough: you can get a discount on their course. A day with Andy Walsh is money well spent too www.carlimits.com, he even does female only days if you prefer. Colin and Jo are great, spent some time with them at Millbrook Proving Ground last year. Colin really knows his stuff, not only did he train the drivers for the Nissan 350z fleet arm but he also trains the blues and twos drivers as well. It's money well spent taking lessons with Colin, something I am keen to put my wife onto as well. Ahh the whole 'another forum' thing tho, there are some of us who do use both forums you know, just some of us use one more than the other.
  17. Marshalls of Cambridge have one.
  18. TBH I think that the colour really depends on your personality, for me whilst I love the black colour I couldn't own a black car, where as Chili Red (previous) or Temper Orange do it for me. Although I haven't seen the TO colour in the flesh properly (just a small part of it, which I liked). I was just after a nice inconspicuous car and decided to go for the one that would let me 'blend' in Mine was an insurance replacement vehicle so I can't answer anything about savings. As for Nismo's, you get both sets of wheels anyway, it's different from when they had standard and Rays where by if you ordered the Rays you didn't get the standard wheels back.
  19. Mine is at the bodyshop atm, it's going on a personalised plate but still contemplating waiting for the 57 plate to ship. Temper Nismo GT, will post pics when she arrives as well.
  20. I believe the 06 and 07 cubbys are the same unit. As for 07 availability, they started shipping about a month ago.
  21. I haven't mate, all I am basing it on are these pictures and website. http://my350z.com/forum/showthread.php?t=245307 btw the second picture is supposedly the same colour car under harsh lighting.
  22. Actually hoping it won't be too bad, I have 11 years protected no claims, this is the first fault accident I have had in a number of years. I guess I will find out in a few months when I have to renew but time will tell.
  23. Or go for a 2007 registered GT4, only has 6 miles on the clock as well. http://www.motors.co.uk/car-12161713-0? ... -results-1
