  1. mate i don't see the point in paying full wack for the nismo ones so that some fooker can come along and rip them off my car!! Got nismo's on mine and TBH i think they would be a bastard to get off and you would only wreck them in the process anyhow +1 I've removed a set of carbon pillars before & they do not come off in piece
  2. I scraped my lip the first day I fitted it getting off my driveway since then i've stopped caring I've managed to get my route out down to 1 speedbump now though but I still scrape if the road has an uneven camber
  3. They will try and put it up, but if you take a quote as a new customer & tell them what it is they usually match it
  4. Just paid for my ticket Now all I need is a car
  5. Pink seat & steering wheel covers next
  6. Tuner kit is the best one to go for IMO, then supply the rest your self
  7. I ended up paying about 30% taxes on my kit
  8. There will still be 100 threads over the next month about it
  9. Skyline porn Bet you were bricking it when the car died, atleast it wasn't a huge problem Me next
  10. I've attatched the parts list from the Vortech installation manual
  11. If your going for Vortech then this thread is essential http://my350z.com/forum/forced-inductio ... tions.html I read through this thread loads of times when I was researching kits Check out the classifieds on my350z, there are quite a few S/C kits popping up for sale. Also be careful buying turbo kits from the US as some of them dont fit UK cars. Good luck doing it yourself, make sure you keep a progress thread for us to see
  12. Not as a kit but you could probably put a kit together buying seperate bolts from there
  13. +1 - we have seen these kind of claims before, and they never materialise. Who is it that can do that for you? We all doubted RS Tuning aswell & they turned out to be right
  14. FAIL Vortech kit comes with pretty much everything you need. The only things that you will need to buy are Injectors, Gauges & a return fuel system. There are other things that I would buy but they are not essential IMO. I'd also replace the injectors that come with that turbonetics kit for atleast 440cc Also don't forget to add on the cost of installtion, mapping & the increased cost in insurance
  15. They're rubbing already. 70 degree left-hander taken at about 30 mph - a definite "nnnnrrrrr" from rear right for a quarter of a second. How much is this arch-rolling business then? Sounds a bit fiddly? Group buy on arch rolling
  16. Every kit will require you to buy extras aswell so dont rule out vortech all together
  17. Fi cant be done on a budget imo, theres always something else that pops up that you need to buy Keep an eye out on my350z.com as quite a few kits come up for sale on there
  18. Wasn't just me then Congratualtions
  19. Smooth the aerial & get the door handles painted
  20. You might find something authentic on www.bidjdm.com
  21. Its vinyl mate, although I thought it was pritty good quality lol... I want the carbon look, but I would really like to keep the genuine Nissan parts. I've seen a few different makes etc of the true carbon ones and some are very poor in quality and fitment. The Nismo ones look the best but they should at nearly £200 I know vinyl isnt the best option and some people would rather have nothing but Ive seen the cheap carbon trim of ebay when people have stuck Nismo stickers on lol.. This is the best stuff I've found without paying mega money. They still fit perfect and all the seal are still on, it has 4 year outdoor warranty and you can wash it with soapy water/ car shampoo with no discolouration. The vinyl also have a weave feel to it like true un laqured carbon. My Nismo pillars don't fit as well as my cheapy ebay ones did
